This is my new heavy rover it seats 3 kerbals at a time as well it is equipped with mechjeb 2 (other then that no mods used in making this) It is pretty heavy duty has front lights and has a prob core for remote control. It also comes equipped with a self righting system for the inevitable roll over at high speeds. anotehr shot of it on the mun And the link to the .craft file note that it is just the rover no launch/landing system although it is balanced so landing it should not be a problem

Our first mun landing went drasticaly wrong we lost the command module due two a blown out nuclear engine. The crash site will be visited in the future but the lander made it down without any loss of kerbal life. Munzor (First kerbal on the Mun was aptly named) and his tiny lander. He plants a flag at the landing site before he heads to the newly landed mun lab, it came down six hours after his landing near the ravine. Another shot of Munzor as he heads to the mun lab still six klicks out Munzor finally arrives at the mun lab and is greeted By Jebediah and Shelgas as they plant the flag at the new research site in the munar ravene And at some point Bob finishes his debriefing with mission command and has the good news that a new scycrane is on the way after Jebediah and Shelgas crashed the last one landing the lab And a picture of the crashed skycrane debris And of course the picture for the history books

Yeah the other two were supposed to take the two man skycrane until the rover broke that XD.

So I started a fresh save recently and have been working on a new mun base and thought I would post a picture of how its coming together. At this point I have -Living quarters for 16 Kerbols, although we only have five kerbonauts on base atm With Bob as mission commander. -A small three man shuttle in case the need arises to get off the mun in a hurry. -A large fuel tanker driven by Jeb. -There was a skycrane but it lost two of its four nuclear engines landing the rover a replacement is on its way from Kerbin however A picture of the mission team goofing off till the new crane gets there with the first Kethane mining rig. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb249/Sheaperd/2013-05-22_00002_zps8e90df26.jpg' alt='2013-05-22_00002_zps8e90df26.jpg'>
