I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you.

Good afternoon, Gentlemen! It all started when i was about 8, when me and my brothers saw '2001, a space odyssey'. We were all fascinated by HAL, and suddenly they decided that they would call me HAL 9000 (because my name starts with Hal- )just to irritate me (which i actually was, being 8 years old and all). Some years later i found out that it would be fun to use on the internets, so I have been using it ever since. 8)
