  1. The refuelling station and tanker is a good idea, also the rover hangar as at the moment there are no ground vehicles on the base for kerbals to explore with. I made this base on my stock save so I am not going to be using any mods for now but thanks for the suggestions!
  2. Well there are around 30 Kerbals on the surface, and all the base structures (apart from the small ship) cannot leave the surface again once they have landed. The station is designed to carry all of those kerbals back to kerbin if I wanted to return them.
  3. I was always under the impression that there was a queen kerbal. There are no cities or settlements on the surface of Kerbin, so it is plausible that they live underground. There are no female Kerbals and they all have the same 2nd name so my theory is that there is a single female Kerbal queen deep under the surface similar to ants or bees that's sole purpose is to give birth to kerbals. Or It is a computer game and kerbals are just randomly generated on launch.
  4. Not sure what's making it wobble, have you tried disabling SAS
  5. This is my Duna Base which I have been building over the past couple of weeks. The base is located in the center of one of the craters directly on the equator. It is 100% stock parts apart from mechjeb which I only used for landings as it became too tedious and time consuming to attempt to manually land everything in the correct positions . Not sure what else I can add to it so suggestions are welcome So far there is a command unit, 4 habitation units, a solar array unit, a communications tower and a launchpad with a small transport ship. There is also around 30 kerbals This is the Duna station in an equatorial orbit around the planet. Finally, this is the communications network around Duna. One satellite is in synchronous orbit directly above the base. There are 3 satellites in semi-synchronous orbit in a triangle pattern which link the station to the base (If communication networks were actually possible ). Let me know what you think
  6. Yes it is completely possible to get an encounter without waiting for the target planet to allign. It will most likely be less fuel efficient and your kerbals may have to spend a few years in space. But yes, totally possible.
  7. If it is behind you then move into a slightly higher orbit and then use a maneuver node. I find that maneuver nodes are pretty handy for rendezvous (and pretty much everything else). Just mess around with the maneuver node, extending it both prograde and retrograde and try moving the node along your orbital path untill you find a close enough approach.
  8. At sea it's a battleship. In space it's a star destroyer
  9. If you had left the rover there from a pre 0.20 save then it would have, like many other things, sunk into the ground. The latest patch lowered the height of the moon so if you haven't loaded it up since the last update then It will most likely be fixed when you do. If not, just put it down to a random bug, I have had pieces of my base randomly flip out when I load them a few times now.
