  1. Response to 0.23 Overall, this is pretty good - I particularly liked the internals for the 4-kerbol habitat module, as well as the R.A.P.I.E.R engine - Good job, SQUAD team! BUT There are some bugs I am experiencing: - once kerbols get in the lab, you can't get them out, there are no internals for it, and it only tells me it is 'operational' once right-clicked. improvements (potential) - the big cockpit with 3 kerbols doesnt have windows on internals, or piloting instuments. it would be a lot better with them. Have a merry christmas, and well donE!
  2. I have tested the 0.22 version, and I am pleased to say that it works really well. The research interface works quite nicely, and it is an excellent educational feature, forcing n00bs and even more experienced players to learn to use every single part to its maximum capacity/efficiency on top of this, it prevents mods such as mechjeb being used, making it a good learning experience/challenge. Have Fun!
  3. the field equations are useful, but there are links everywhere....
  4. Here's a montage of some of my best KSP .21.... Sunscraper - passed within 300,000Km of the sun... A probe entering laythe's atmosphere with jool int the background My super colonisation ship and a Munar Eclipse Station one deorbits... 3:D
  5. Those who say Alcuibierre drive is impossible: I disagree with you. It is more of a very localized regenerating wormhole where it is generated in front of and behind you. Unless you have looked at the general theory of relativity yourself, then you will realize that there is as much ground for thinking it is possible as there are for thinking it isn't possible. at this stage its all point of view. 400 years ago they thought that it was impossible that humans could be killed by microbes.
  6. Hardly physics breaking. Just incomprehensible without (at least) a Degree in Quantum Mechanics.
  7. Warp drive is in fact an Alcuibierre drive, which depends on the principle that although matter cannot travel at superluminal velocities, space can. check it up. So it is more of a very localized wormhole that continually generates itself in front of your ship. Not impossible, but we need to be able to create gravitational forces first.... otherwise, those starships would use a form of ion-plasma drive, which releases light as energy, or a fusion impulse drive, both ridiculously more powerful than the types used today ^^.
  8. In theory, It is possible, however some form of sentient species would have to build it as planets form from planetoids, which form rocky space debris, etc, etc. It's center of gravity would have to be at the centre, and to prevent water fusing under this pressure, you would have to 'pulse' the entire planet with an intense pressure wave every second or two, creating massive fluctuations which would prevent nuclear fusion occuring. This could be acheived by having about ten moons with highly elliptical orbits with huge masses, and time them to create these fluctuations. That project would be a bit of a waste of a few millennia ^^. Any questions?
