SAS Modules don't seem to do anything...

Okay I'll try that, such a noob at this game lol. Thanks everybody -
I put advanced SAS modules on my rocket but when I enable (T) the rocket doesn't stay straight it just does what it wants to, am I doing something wrong? PS: The words SAS don't show up in my stages either.
