0 crashes for me, I don't use mods though. Guess the mods need some more tweaking then.

I am not sure if it had a visible bubble, but it definately snapped into place at some point, and it doesn't really seem to do it anymore. it is indeed really frustrating to place these things on top of something.

somethink likaaaa this? works perfectly fine, it can even do complete rollovers in succession, though I admit, my fuel ran out after I let it do 10 rollovers in a row. now I just need to find a way to make them mobile and perfectly stable, so I can place them somewhere else, so I don't have to delete them every time

I put my boys through a lot of stress in the last cupple of days, so I decided that they deserved some fun time, and since I have never seen anyone build something like this yet (not claimimng that noone has done it though, just saying I have not seen it yet), I build this for them for amusement: and they had a really good time with it! the good news is, noone died... the sad news is... it didn't explode at all, it worked just fine

I actually never used the debug menue, I might do it sometime though, just to finally visite all planetes. I didn't even know there was no invinite electricity, though I thought it would be done with infinite fuel, and if it does, I don't think we need an extra option for it to be honest.

are they "just not there", or do they get a "breaking" entry in the mission report? I only had stuff like that happen to my struts when they broke right after loading the vehicle, I didn't see or hear that either, but it was at least mentioned in the mission report. Parts not showing up on the launchpad isn't something I have ever encountered for my ships, though I might have missed it aswell, I rarely use fuellines, and I often use so many struts that I might oversee it if 1 or 2 are missing.

well, I happily edited the missing poll part out of it... and since I do not want to derail this thread, I just won't say anything about your approach of this Back on the toppic: I don't think that just because we don't hear anything from them does not mean they are not working on it. I'd rather have them spend their time on fixing the problem, which might be a bit complicate and not that easy to fix, instead of using manpower to explain the situation to the community. If KSP development history has shown us something, then that SQUAD is working very hard to get newly introduced bugs out of their current builds as fast as possible. Just remember the recently messed up new SAS, how long did it take them to improve it to a playable state? one day? No need to be worried, I am sure that they not only already work on it, but also that we will see a fix for it in near future.

I wonder if there was ever an attemp to make a ship that was bigger than the 2.5km... what would happen to it? would certain parts just stop existing on the one end, while you are focusing on the other?

I think this idea might (maybe) work out if done similar to the FLoB series, but on the other hand, Minecraft has A LOT more people in its community willing to spend their time on watching videos like that, AND it was kind of a new thing when it was started. I am actually not sure if this thing will find enough people interested in watching it. Giving it some kind of charity purpose might help a bit, again, like FLoB... but honestly, unless you are one HECK of an entertainer, I doubt you can pull this off, but I'll be happy to be wrong! Oh, and don't forget to do that run with jeb!

I don't think you can compare landers in the jool system with stationary spaceplatforms like the ISS, no? Sure there is less room in a vehicle that is meant to fly to other planets than in some base orbiting the homeworld. So I guess one hitchhiker for 2 kerbals should be more than adequate!
