I just bought the game and have only played it for 5 or so hours. Anyway, I finally got a ship out of the kerbin atmosphere and when i looked around to get a view of the planet, all I saw was a big black transparent sphere were kerbin should be. I could even see the stars through the planet so I know that it wasn't just the dark side. I also could not figure out how to get into the map view with the lines showing your orbit. Please help.
