If your space program was a song, what would it be?
Capt_Reynolds replied to mangekyou-sama's topic in The Lounge
Every time I'm smashing through the atmosphere of a planet the chorus of this goes through my head. -
I think most people would agree it would bring... unwanted people to our happy little community. Anyone who knows about Pewds understands what his fans are like. On the lus side though, the stereotypical PDP fan wouldn't be the type to stay with a game with a learning curve as steep as KSP. Those who do stay can be salvaged into good members of the community. On an important side note though, Squad would get a lot of coverage and can make some money.

http://www.nbcnews.com/science/one-giant-leap-kerbalkind-spaceflight-sim-wins-geek-gift-award-2D11741994 I was looking at NBC's front page and found this little gem. That's some pretty nice recognition. -
Seeing a lot of questions that pop up regularly on the forums. glad they were able to be put to rest.

This link has some pretty good information as well http://www.braeunig.us/space/orbmech.htm -
I' m trying to do almost the entire space program with minimal time warp (using Kerbal alarm clock) so I can wait as many orbits as necessary, so long as it is an unmanned flight, I just want to know If I can transfer immediately regardless of phase angle or delta V. as for tools I'm adjusting manually while using KER for numbers.

What if KSP had an ESRB Rating?
Capt_Reynolds replied to ExplodingRocketShips's topic in KSP1 Discussion
M- drug references. Jeb has to be on something to always be smiling like that. -
I don't think that is quite right. On Kerbin the camera switches focus when your apoapsis is above the atmosphere and your periapsis is around 22km.

I know that for some reason KW and Nova Don't work well together.
-
Go look at Google's daily doodle. It's very ironic given the current state of the national parks.

KSPX has a bigger ion engine with a matching xenon tank, as well as a rockomax sized nuclear engine.

I never thought of the idea of multiple stations. In this case, if your first station is in LKO, I would go and set one up in Minmus orbit (especially for that sweet sweet Kethane). Personally, I find LKO rendezvous to be too long of a process (that's compounded upon when going to multiple stations in one go) Getting Minmus and docking with a second station there is easier, plus it is a great place to transfer Kethane from the surface of Minmus, to orbit, then back to Kerbin for use on ships.

Orbital Fluctuations During Timewarp
Capt_Reynolds replied to Jodo42's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I notice this a lot while rendezvousing. I'll enter time warp to get my two vessels closer together and my finely tuned ap/pe fluctuate. -
For low gravity worlds, heavier vehicles are better. On Minmus for example, I use a huge rover using 6 of the rovemax model 3 wheels, as well as rcs thrusters mentioned in above posts. It is perfect for driving and towing across the flats.

I finally to become active on this great community. I've been playing since .17 but haven't been involved in the community scene. Keep flying Everyone!
