It's ok. I've just make a screen mono KLFServer.exe & rulz I've join using KLFClient.exe. I think it works ! But sometimes KSP crash while launching a Vessel from VAB :/ XaT

For very light plane i've use them.. Otherwise i didn't use them with other vessel. In fact i've test it with an ion-proble and it was... awful XaT

Well, learning with MechJeb is for me a mistake, i think you've to begin without that, read forums,tutos & reach goals by calculating by your own. KSP now integrate enought tools to reach simply goals. I'm playing KSP since few months, and enjoyed it, i never use MechJeb or any mod (erm just Chaterrer and i don't use it know) and i haven't still reach all my goals ! XaT

Yes, but here the disk run @10Gb/s so it's not the slowest part. And the bandwith between RAM & PCIe 3.0 is pretty high.. XaT

I'm trying to load faster! 30sec to load main menu + loading savegame, VAB, vessel & launch = ~60sec It was just a test. It seems to be clearly limited by CPU. So it's useless XaT

I know i've to get a SSD, and i totally accept the time needed for KSP loading Ram disk is a good thing if you're not annoyed by mount/copy/remount/etc XaT

Hi', After reading the "KSP ram" topic i had an idea : inject KSP into a RAM Disk. I've 32Gb. I made a ram disk using "Softperfect RAM Disk". I've created a 10000Mo ram disk at Z: And i copied KSP into Z: But it seems to do... nothing. Loading in video plus loading VAB/vessel/launch & CRASH ! Several crashs since i injected KSP into RAM Disk... WTF ? May be software related. I think i'm CPU limited because of the bad multithreading optimisation (i've a 3770K) XaT

Yes i've a mount ram disk after each computer start. But my PC is always ON, so that's not a problem. The difference ? Ultra fast loading. I'll try & make some videos XaT

I've just that with 0.21.1 : At launch screen : 1424.7Mo Ah KSC : 1426.9Mo In VAB with a 480part vessel : 1665.0Mo At launchpad with same vessel : 1783.3Mo at 9fps (i7 3770k & 670GTX) I'll upadte after few moments of gaming. I'll also try to inject' KSP into a ram disk (i've 32gb) XaT

Wait for optimisation, but i've the same config (z77, i7 3770k, gtx670, 32gb ram, etc) and i play it well. Just wait for optimisation.. I'm waiting in first for multithreading XaT
