On the loading screen her space helmet cast a shadow on her face that looks like a hairy beard. It gives me a chuckle every time i start the game.

I read this post about an hour ago waiting for a engine burn to finish, and it just now happened to me too. After a long combination of missions on the mun that took me all day. I finally got my crew of 7 (Bill, Bob, and Jeb included) back to LKO and onboard a spaceplane. All went well untill about 100 meters above the runnway when my right wing exploded and I crashed into the runway. Then, for some reason, fuel tanks at my launch pad exploded. It was mayhem. Now i gotta go back and see when last time i remembered to save was. -

water never destroyed anything I didn't want it too, if I planned on being in the water. I wouldn't land a huge plane in the water, and I have made stock amphibious planes, not even VTOL. My biggest issue with the water is its appearance, Water just looks like no one wanted to make it and slapped a half ass texture on it lol. Not even any reflections. Splashes and sound could be a lot better too. The Structural Panels make great pontoons. just gotta angle them right so the plane can lift out of the water and not drag down into it. and keep them well beneath your fuselage. -
I wanted to farm science, but was sick of mun and minmus. So, I hauled the lab out to jool with a small lander. Got all the science from Kerbol, Jool, Bop, and pol. I brought back nearly 8000 science. Tech tree done! Plus I just slapped 4 lander legs and 4 parachutes to my lab, never had a problem recovering it. Also, I was trying to be wastefull with funds cuz there piling up, and I even after this expensive mission it brought back twice as many funds from exploring those planets and moons.

I always use KAS and Kethane. I enjoy building large bases even if I gotta deal with a huge fps drop. -

Then there would be 30-40 expansions adding thousands of parts and the game would run at 10 fps forever. -
anything, my save file is broke or something and I'm bummed out now.

Something like this started happening to me. Large ships would seem to forget they were orbiting anything and show velocity of zero. Then after a few seconds explode sending pieces clear out of the solar system. I could fix the game by restarting it, but it got worse and worse like it something was wrong with my save file, I haven't played again since cuz the whole thing is bugged now and I cant launch anything without it exploding after a minute.

Some of ARM is awesome, and Some of ARM makes me "face-palm". There is "premade" feeling of building with some of these parts. The liquid fuel booster with engines and all. the Escape tower...people have built plenty of escape towers before, no need for this all in one deal. might as well add a premade lander with RCS, Fuel, engines and solar panels... yuck. Theres other things though that are sweet. The new large size is awesome, and the new SRBs are cool. Plus, LOL at asteroids slowing down to 100m/s and just plopping down on kerbin. atleast mine did, then it rolled down a hill, breaking off what was left of the vehicle attached to it. It was hilarious to me.

I don't mean to argue but I'm gonna, the last patch came out on my birthday.. 4 months ago Dec 15th. after they said they were gonna release patches more frequently in smaller dosses.... guess that didn't work out. I laugh but I understand, the NASA ARM add-on and .24 all together is a lot to work on. I guess this kinda stuff is why there are no release dates on new patches. I still love kerbal. -

Ok, I will try to check out KMP. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm used to online games like D2 or D3 or WoW a lot of blizzard games... which I'm well over and resent at this point... so I worry about the online things I hated in those games finding a way into kerbal. All the greifing and trolling and pure assholes on my server. I had to quit all that and kerbal was an awesome way to fill my time, I have learned so much I always compare it to my art or music talents. I'm just afraid of it being wrecked by jerks. most people here are way more awesome then WoW forums or chat btw -

i don't understand multiplayer, how can that work with time warp? and what stops me from crashing into your spacestation when I feel destructive? sounds as bad as SimCity online... and that was a huge fail. -

I wish a few features I had to add with mods were also stock, like resources. I always need to install kethane mod and its not as indepth as id like. (with only one resource, Kethane). I saw a chart once that had a list of like 8-12 made-up "Elements" (like Hexagen and propellium) that could be used to produce fuel on other worlds, but now I hear the devs have considered it "not fun" -snip-? I also have KAS but that's only so I can refuel with out completely docking two ships together, I can land a huge ship next to a kethane rig and run a fuel line to the ship. This also give me more to do with my kerbals. Get them out the ship and put them to work. the game needs that. Right now, the only reason for me to actually bring a kerbal someplace is to take a sample and plant a flag. -

Moving planetary science multipliers

Something like a difficulty setting in the options or when you start a new game. Effecting how much science is earned or how much currency is gained, when that's added. it's not long before my career mode pretty much turns into sandbox mode. In a new career mode I started I almost filled the tech tree and haven't left Kerbin's SOI, accept a probe to Eve. -
Thinner and thicker atmospheres

I've thought this also, quite a few of our solar systems moons have very thin atmospheres. It would be neat to deal with them in kerbal. Especially if there was wind. Something like pluto's atmosphere would be interesting also, only puffing up during its warmer seasons.
