Just because it's too complicated doesn't mean that it works. Their progress may be extremely buggy and be impossible to play because it's too confusing. Squad won't release the source because it's their work not a mod they were paid to make it, do you really think they would release it for free?

Loading screens between scenes should have information about the game with pictures. The screens should have things like tips, cut scenes (for more info on cut scenes see the cut scene suggestion) between launch without showing vehicle, and information about parts or planets and ksp features.

Binary stars system strangely close to kerbol with a very high density small planet and low density large moon bigger than planet orbiting planet and the planet should have an extremely dense small layer of atmosphere. The moon should be a dead moon like with a huge crater a quarter the size of the moon and tons of debris of the moon orbiting it like extra moons. takes care of people begging for new atmosphere planets, binary stars and asteroids.

Did you forget about the clouds?

I think the devs are doing fine, I heard that they are doing optimization in .23 to decrease load times, and tweakables are a great idea so not all landing gear turn or are motorized, or anything else like that.
