Send it up in smaller pasts and dock them together when on the mun. It is hard getting to another part of the station and moving it around to dock without wheels, so i would recommend wheels and then landing legs to lift the wheels of the ground.

Strap your vehicle to the side of a rocket...

What I would do is strap your vehicle onto the side of a large-enough rocket with parachutes on where your going. You could also fashion it into a part vehicle-part lander.
