Haha, nice! I've only gotten a Dual Ion plane to work so far. But it gets a respectable 50m/s in the lower atmosphere and has a really long range if i adjust my fuel balancing so it doesn't flip out.

It stopped getting funding when the Dev's decided to stop caring about spaceplane parts.

i use it as my spaceplane base/ defence base. Its an interesting place to land with spaceplanes when you overshoot the runway. Some cool stuff, really wish there were more airfields in general just to explore/ use as landing strips.

It would be cool to be able to refuel/repair at them too.

This is my lander, the Blaster Mk.1, based on Scott Manley's design.

You probably won't need that amount of RCS. I normally use the radial tanks or a nose mounted tank.

It does look a bit like a cemetery; perhaps it is/was planned for a future version?

Or maybe it used to be the final resting ground for kerbals launched from the Island Runway. Try coming back at night and check if there are any zombie kerbals wandering around.

It wasnt a failure, it was a unplanned success in crashing.

Docking is easy. Almost every 1+ man mission is Apollo Style for me.
