  1. It really was difficult! Took me a while to get a rocket configuration to get it to orbit and then finally the rendezvous. No mods for me yet. Still enjoying stock
  2. My _biggest_ achievement so far...getting this huge gas tank to my "station"
  3. Definitely! I use the 100x my speed compared to distance method: 2.0km ~20m/s, 1.0km ~10m/s, etc. This seems to workout pretty well for me, so far.
  4. It may be because I'm new, but successfully docking two space crafts is the most exciting thing I've done in a "video game", if that is what you call this I just successfully docked for only the second time, but in a fraction of the time from the first. This was due to the understanding of gaining speed with lower orbits and reducing speed in upper orbits, but mostly due to pebblegardens incredibly detailed tutorials. Just an excited Kerbal space explorer
  5. Hey everyone, I just discovered KSP yesterday. After successfully putting an object into orbit with the demo version, I quickly bought the full version I have never really used any flight simulators before, so, much of this is new to me. I have already read through and watched a good portion of the tutorials and can't thank the community enough for taking the time to make these!! Looking forward to building my own space program!
  6. ^ I just installed KSP last night and this is what I did. I attached 2 struts in an 'X' across the seems in the front and back ( I saw some one do this in a very nice tutorial). Seemed to be very stable.
