  1. Every time I play Career, I wind up doing all of my Mun landings with no ladders! Silly that ladders are so high in the tech tree. They are less complex than every other part. I cannot visualize NASA telling Neil Armstrong that he has to use a jet pack to get back inside, because they have the technology to get him to the moon... but do not know how to attach a ladder on a spaceship!
  2. I would really like a Hard Mode: It would be Career Mode, with: - no F5 save or F9 load, and - no Revert (to launch or assembly). This would add the objective of having to save astronauts from disastrous launches, as when a Kerbal dies... he stays dead! This would also add more impact to the budget in Career Mode, as launch disasters would be money wasted. You would also have to create rescue missions, when ships run out of fuel in space or are damaged while landing on other planets. This would also tie in well if they ever add Achievements.
  3. He's not gone for ever. He will be back once they release the Kerbal Zombie Invasion DLC.
  4. CAPSULES: My suggestion is that after landing a capsule there is a cost to recover it in Campaign Mode, based on the distance to the capsule from the Spaceport. BECAUSE: This would reward players for attempting to land as close to the Spaceport as possible! Recovering the capsule not only returns the astronauts to the common pool, but also places the capsule back into inventory. I would also suggest that the cost would be zero (free) if the capsule is less than 25km from the Spaceport (ie: we sent a truck to get it!). (This could also later be worked into Kerbal Astronaut profiles, with awards like "25km Club" and "10km Club"). DEBRIS (Collect the Scrap Game): Two different ideas here... 1. Debris recovery could be automatic, with intact (undamaged because of using parachutes) items being replaced into inventory. Damaged items would return a scrap monetary value, based on a percentage of item cost, and distance of recovery. Or... 2. This could be worked into the Space-plane end... where the player can retrieve the debris using airplanes, and get money for doing so! This way, players running low on campaign funds could gather scrap to fund their next flight.
