If You Could Make a Mod, What Would it Be Like?

I am currently learning how to code and model so that I can make my mod ideas into a reality. If I did know how to do it all now, I would make a stock alike mod that adds in a 3m space station modual, and other things such as fueled nosecones.And I would make a mod that adds in spacecraft that you can customize by putting certain parts on it. DON'T steal these ideas. -

Your right, there isn't too many mods for KSP, so kinda no need to put packs together. EDIT One reason that I was doing this is that I have a lot of time because its summer break, and i don't have a lot to do other than play video games and read (both get really boring eventually), and this was something to do. Second, when I first downloaded mods, I was very confused on how to do it, and I thought this was just an easy way to let people mass download mods in one quick download and extraction. If i do do make a mod pack, I should probably wait till some of the fallowing. *KSP is in the 1.0 phase *More mods (if any) are in 1.0 *I know how to code (to be able to fix problems with code) *There are actually more mods (and they become harder to track) I see everyone's point, it would be a lot of work. But if there is a lot more mods in the future there might be more point into making mod packs. For now, its just easier to have a list like somnambulist said.

I was also going to use the reduced textures to help with the data management. And as for the VAB being crammed, there are parts organizers that will help. I see what you say here, I will think about it for a little bit. I just thought that it would help people making modded crafts by standardizing what mods are used. I see what you are saying Ferram, I would expect some mod makers to feel this way. As for changing code, I wouldn't do any of that, I would just put the mods into a pack just the way they are. And I would give the owners there respectful credit. The mod makers would the creators, and I would just be a mechanic, so to speak. If you don't want me to use it, i respect your decision. I know, I would pm the authors to get permission, but as Ferram stated, if i can't fix the problems myself, I will have a lot of work on my hands. As I know NO coding whatsoever, I think i am going to learn how to code and wait till i am able to code and/or till KSP and some of the mods are at least v1.0

I am going to start making mod packs for KSP. If you play Minecraft, you would know that mod packs make it easier to share crafts/maps because you would just have to download the pack, and the map/craft and there you go, you have installed the map/craft and required mods in two simple steps. The first mod pack I am going to create is one geared for creative building and a little realism. Mods: *Parts Mods Aies Aerospace B9 Aerospace Kw Rocketry Nova(Slug)Punch Mk2 Cockpit Internals 6S Service RLA Stockalike mods Procedural Parts Procedural Fairings Space Shuttle Engines Fustek KSPX Infernal Robotics *Feature Mods RCS Build Aid Kerbal Engineer MechJeb Active Memory Reduction Mod *Alteration mods: FAR Deadly Reentry TAC Life Suport More Mods To Be Listed! I am still looking at what I want. If you own one of these mods, please let me know if it is okay to use it in my pack.

I have a few small ideas that could help the game a little 1: Folders for craft saves. There are people who have tons of crafts and it is hard to find certain spacecrafts. (HOCgamming) 2: Nasa looking parts for 2m and 1m (and 3m stock looking parts). 3: Half and quarter sized orange tanks because i like the look of them, and i would like to use more orange tanks. 4: Different sized .6m tanks. *edit* 5: New engine icon for jet engines so that you can tell what is what 6: Bigger, stronger launch clamps to hold the big 3m parts. 7: PLEASE, interiors for the mk2 and 3 cockpits. 8: For engines that have the extra exhaust pipe (This suggests that they are Gas generator Cycles) add a little flame, or smoke coming out of the pipe. 9: For the Launcher, the ability to go back and play in older versions. (likeminecraft) These are very simple ideas, it shouldn't be too hard to implement them:). (except for maybe #1 and 9)

I am fascinated with the Nk-33 engine from the cold war. It has the second highest trust to weight of any flown. It also has a sea level ISP of 297 seconds. This is pretty high for a kerosene engine. The RD-170 family has an even higher ISP at around 309 seconds. These engines has something in common... THEY USE OXYGEN RICH TECHNOLOGY!!!!! Now i was wondering, is there any Hydrogen rocket engines that use Oxygen rich technology. It seems that it makes the engines preform with higher ISP.
