  3. Hey Guys, I decided to go ahead and take a stab at a KSP-StarWarsVII mashup, and I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out! Enjoy If anyone wants them I'll go ahead and link the craft files here. All of them except the Falcon were made by me.
  4. Yes, it may not be released until summer, however this suggestion is simply to raise awareness of what KSP can become with an updated engine, and to give the Devs time to think about and discuss the Pros and Cons of migrating over to a newer engine.
  5. Okay guys, this year at GDC Unity 5 was offically announced, causing thousands of players and developers around the world to have a simultaneous nerdgasm. Why implement Unity 5 though? Isn't it just a better version of the engine? Here's why. 64Bit Support Not only does Unity 5 have better graphics as a whole, it also has integrated 64bit support built in. Meaning KSP will use more than 4Gbs of RAM for your mod library. Graphics Playing a game for graphics is horrible and you should be condemned for such a crime. However, down the line with Unity 5, KSP may have a graphic future reminiscent of this: PhysX 3.3 Better physics would help, and it supports multi-core physics, meaning less lag and more awesome. Better workspace for Devs Meaning that the devs could work easier and faster with more intuitive Unity GUI. Personally I think that this is something that needs to happen. Unity 5 is one huge leap for all Kerbalkind, and should be treated as such. -Tron
  6. Hey! I'm extremely interested in this. I could even set up a temporary server for it as well, and record a series. I have fraps, and about 8gb of memory I could use for the server (in total I have 16gb). However as of when I'm posting this, KMP doesn't support modded parts, and plugins are a bit sketchy. Obviously, if I did run a server it wouldn't be up 24/7, but it would be fun to get together on a weekend and just duke it out and record. I'd do all the editing and production for the recording bit. All you guys have to do is kill each other with kinetic kill missiles. PM me if you want more info.
  7. First in a line of millitary products, the Xavier class scout ship is our mainstream proud and joy. Put together by our (not so) expert rocket scientists, this ship is (not) guaranteed to pack a punch! Equiped with three long range gueded missiles, it can hold it's own against any ship up to twice it's size. The missiles use advanced computing technology (collected from a junkyard) to accurately find and destroy it's target. Also included are three Jr. Docking ports for additional weaponry if necessary! Sorry that it's dark, I should've launched during day STORY BEHIND BSI: Blue Star Industries started out as a simple trading company, that dealt in ore processing. But with the increasing number of Hanland raid ships, the owners of BSI had no choice, but to mount a counter offensive. Hanland was completely caught off guard by the offensive, and the raiding vessels were destroyed. After this, BSI joined the Spiritwolf Alliance, a group of companies turned armies, that have had enough of Hanland's warmongering. United under a single flag, BSI and other companies have a better fighting chance then on their own.
