  1. The Kerbol system is not entirely stable under real physics. Ike is huge in comparison to Duna, and would alter its orbit. Also, Vall would be ejected from the jool system. Minmus would most likely be ejected through the L1 portal. The list goes on.
  2. In 1904, Albert Einstien and Issac Newton invented outer space.
  3. you could, but you would have to quite literally launch a lot of -stuff- into orbit...
  4. Using Impossible innovations, I managed to get a craft that can carry 185 kerbals into orbit in 3 minutes 13 seconds. Assuming you could launch from kerbin for 200 days, which is a total of (200x24x60x60) 17,280,000 seconds, divided by the 3 minute 13 second (193 second) orbit achievement time, allowing for 57 seconds to prepare each vehicle for launch, we have a hypothetical maximum of 69,120 launches, each with 185 kerbals on board, each worth 5 points, we have a hypothetical grand total of 63,936,000 points.
  5. dont use too many solid boosters at the top. the rocket should be a pyramid, not a cylinder. Getting into orbit isnt that difficult with asparagus staging. Nuclear engines can get you out of kerbin orbit and into an eve intersect, and paracutes will be more than effective. eve is the only place you can land where mk.25 chutes are actually valuable.make sure you have a few chutes, the atmosphere is very thick, so it could rip them off. if you plan on returning, use jet engines to lift off. the atmosphere is so thick, they will work extremely well.
  6. yeah, that was it. the solar panels broke, but didn't fall off, and i ran out of electricity. Thanks for the help though.
  7. I'm having an issue, in that, on a couple different different rockets, i will attempt to throttle up an inactive booster after warping, and the system will not allow me too. also, the staging light is purple. i am using a bad computer right now while i wait to get a new one, so could lag be a contributing factor? any help would be much appreciated.
  8. why not put one at around 150 km, and another orbiting minmus, or in that general area?
