Also The U.S did actually did land on Venus, The surviving day probe from the Pioneer Venus Multiprobe, Landed at 31.3°S 317.0°E And for the record, The U.S did more things on mars than the soviets But seriously, Lets stop bringing up the Curiosity and current events... AND this isn't about whether they exist anymore, Its about the space race...
