So there's this older mod called Duna Direct linked here:http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/93809-0-24-2-DunaDirect-Sabatier-Reactor and I'm having issues with it in RSS with real fuels. Does anyone know how to make it work with Methane Oxygen and Hydrogen? Thanks!!!

A Mars mission is perfectly possible in the next 10-25 years using only current technologies. Chemical propulsion and limited to no on-orbit construction are the only way to go for now. It can be done in very few launches if we live off the land. We can make methane/oxygen fuel from the Martian atmosphere, we can make oxygen and perhaps even water if we land in the right spot. And while robots may be a more viable method of doing science on a per-mission basis, wouldn't it be better to have geologists living on site? We can't wait for advanced propulsion and giant shipyards. If NASA really had the dedication we could do it right now.

I would everyone shut up about Gravity already. It's a freaking movie, they had to take a few creative liberties. The director said that himself -

What did you name your first rocket?
PlasmaticInc replied to Spacewalking on Sunshine's topic in KSP1 Discussion
first succesgul one way back in .13 was the Athena. It's first 2 stages were massive SRB clusters. Needless to say, it exploded alot. -
apparently, their drag is lower than fuel tanks now, so the center of lift is farther back, making it more stable.

Infinite fuel is a cheat, it removes the challenge of designing an SSTO or any rocket for that matter, which is having enough fuel. Part clipping is far more of a realistic "cheat". Parts in real life can be welded together, or placed inside of each other. As long as you don't part clip like 70 Mainsails onto a 2.5 meter space or something similar, part clipping helps improve form. All physics is still applied. And as Exo said, this game isn't realistic. Realism is boring, being a little fantastic is not cheating, it's creativity. Why should you care? If part clipping is not your thing, then don't download the craft. It's a SINGLE PLAYER game, chill out.

What happened when you first landed on the Mun?
PlasmaticInc replied to rhj91's topic in KSP1 Discussion
When I first landed, my fins I was using as legs (this was back in 13.3) snapped off, leaving me trapped, but intact, on the moon. -
I still say the big one should be "Rocko" as in Rockomax, and the little one should be "Ant" AS in the LV-1 Ant engine, but that's just me.

Hello Forums! I first heard abour ksp back about maybe a year and a half ago when it was in version 0.13.3. Way back when before landing legs. You had to land on the moon with fins and radial decouplers. Which version did you guys start in?
