How do you get your rovers from vertical to horizontal?

So, I have been building rover to assemble a base on the Mun. Recently I have been having a problem with the Powered Hinge. It works fine until I dock with something. In this case The FusTek Airlock, then it wants to rotate backwards. What can I do about this? Below is an image of the rover The Artimus Assembler Mk VIII, driving the 2.1 km to the base. Followed by an image of the rover with the AirLock docked. At the bottom is the Mark IV rover moving the Observation node to the base.

This may or may not apply. I had a similar problem with a kethane probe around the Mun. What I did was use the mechJeb Smart A.S.S. to orient my ship to either normal or anti-normal. This works because the probe is on the end and it can rotate on it own. and the solar panels (the stock 1x6 ones) rotate to face the sun when not blocked by the Mun. The 4 solar panels are radially mounted 90 degrees apart.

Other than the appearance, whats the difference between Active and Passive mode of the IACBM's?

when the docking camera is active and the proper target is selected there are a bunch of new numbers displayed. I cannot seem to find what the numbers mean or how to use them. I am pretty sure that one set is the angles that the docking craft is from teh target. but i'm not so sure about the others. Any help would be appreciated.

Thats the camera im using, but I have not been able to find any information about what the numbers mean so I know how to use it.

Is there a Docking camera tutorial? How do I interpret the values on the display?

Why is it always dar or night time at the launchpad no matter what time it is during the day IRL? If I time-warp it does chnage, but when I go back to the VAB and then to the lauch pad, its dark again.
