    Any way of having a beep to denote how close we are to the ground? Sorta like parking sensors, so I can concentrate on other things while landing.

    Infernal robotics I think has what they call free spinning washers which work as bearings, you could add one to that and just it for your rotor

    Just seen this. Can I say congrats on the POC. this reminds me a lot of Multi Theft Auto where people said it wasn't possible and then proved wrong. Can I suggest IF you get far enough that you allow a 3rd computer to run as server

    Afternoon! Just wanted to say hello after a few weeks of stalking the forums, looking at doing a few mods just trying to suss out the code ATM

    Personally I use the aerospikes as an emergency burn if I've badly misjudged the landing. I use them with the nuclear engine and get about 8 minutes of delta-v in vacuum that way. IMHO most people don't use the engine as it has no thrust vectoring which isn't much help on a smaller lander.
