I went as far as changing the registry name, the inf file so it shows up in device manager as something else, and KSP still insists on using the same name as the joystick. I think it picks from the driver which I can't change, a binary file... I was going to blame Unity, but Simple Planes seems to use Unity, now, and doesn't have this problem. It sees my X-55 parts simply as 'Joy1' 'Joy2' 'Joy3' when I map it, etc.

I'm sure it's been said to death, but Career Mode is brand new and the game is only on version .22, so there's a long way to go, kinks to work out, etc. I'm sure it will get better with time

My rockets aren't overbuilt and I'm not a terrible pilot. The ability to dump a stage early and save a tumbling rocket, and still make orbit, is just a safety feature. >.>

It will never let you go. I'm building a modest PC just to play it again since my laptop gets all sorts of hot running KSP, and I don't want to obliterate it's poor CPU (lol, and 20 minutes of play turns it's 9+ hour battery life into 1.5 or so >.> )

An eventual expansion with another solar system to reach, with better drives to research to get there, etc. Not necessarily FTL, either. Oooh, or a second sandbox option that randomly generates your solar system, and then you can visit other player's systems and explore their planets and bases but that's a bit more of a pipe dream hehe.

Travelling to other celestial bodies.

I build and then try to see where I can go, vs trying to build for where I want to go. Ie, put a LV-N stage into orbit with a lot of fuel and see where I can put a probe to light off it's ion drive

They blinded us with Science! >.> <.< >.> I can't wait to send probes out into the system for moar sciencey stuff.

Other: I'd try to figure out how to communicate with them, and seek to discover whatever I could about their history, social norms, etc. Other than building rockets and being able to freely explore their solar system and how awesome that must be, of course. I mean f*** they'd be real, living beings, wth lol.
