Sent him on a suborbital rocket flight (because mechjeb spoiled my fuel need estimation abilities), and had him EVA while in space for science, but for the life of him (literally) he could not grab onto the capsule to get back in without being relaunched off. So now his ashes are embedded in a mountain somewhere on the far side of the planet.

Putting cobwebs of struts around my ship, trying to keep it from collapsing on itself, but gravity is winning

Tried to make a ship that could drop used fuel tanks without dropping engines too. Tried to put all fuel in an inner stack, and all engines in an outside ring. Could not for the life of me get it to fly without falling apart. There was also the time I tried a lander/mothership mission to duna without any RC unit on the MS. Then I put the RC unit on and forgot the solar panels. Or when I tried using nukes in the atmosphere

At first it was pretty random. Then I took the Kerbal X (stock), made some adjustments, saved it as Kerbal X nonstock, then it got reiterated as X2: Refueled, etc. But as each ship wasn't working right, each name got more frustrated, such as X4: C'mon, X5: You can do eet!, and up to Xex 15: Aaaahahrgh. By then I got annoyed having to scroll all the way to the bottom, so I started over with A1: Starting Over. But eventually I went back to my best performing spacecraft, the ironically called X13: The Lucky One.

Anytime I start the first stage of my suspended rocket without throttling up first. *drop**crash**explode*
