Just wondering, is the particle accelerator based on RF acceleration or plasma acceleration?
-
Seeing as the game is now in beta, perhaps the next update shall include Unity 5 support? Or at least an experimental unity 5 build?
There are too many benefits of Unity 5 for Squad to pass it up.
-
Can someone please tell me the tweakscale multipliers for all the parts?
-
IMO bad idea.
Nuclear engines should be usable without much consequence (other than price). Besides the average kerbal is too dumb to see radiation as a bad thing.
-
Is there a way to change the settings with GUI?
-
Just curious, is there a mod for this?
-
Another reason is because I occasionally experience a bug where my mods disappear.
Usually just get all the mods again, but updated versions sometimes remove certain parts.
-
Title says it all.
Sometimes I want to change ship designs that contain missing parts and sometimes I want to terminate the ships in space that have missing parts but are hidden by ksp.
-
Download WaveFunctionP's experimental version. It fixes this issue
Wher would I find that?
-
Please update to 0.24
Reactors and stuff keep falling through my craft.

From Kerbarts point, and the fact that KSP is a mainly realistic rocketry simulator using parts similar to current and classic technology, this would never get added into stock. Go ask in Add-on requests to see if someone would make a mod for this...
The atomic engine is not used in real life ever since they banned nuclear testing in space, air, and water.
I also acknowledge that the chance it gets into stock is low.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_vacuum_plasma_thruster
A kind of thruster that does not need to carry any propellant.
"According to Harold White, a quantum vacuum plasma thruster-powered spacecraft weighing 90 tonnes would be able to reach Proxima Centauri in ~29.9 years at 4 newtons per kilowatt."
Seems like a great idea and should be implemented in stock (unlikely) or a mod.

I agree water needs to be completely remade. Underwater exploration could be fun, but let's not rush to that and focus on more realistic water physics/optimization first.
-
1. FAR or something like it in stock
2. Unity 5
-
I think moon brightness is currently fine.
-
Use the farram aerospace mod. Honestly though, that should become stock.
-
Procedural craters (coming soon) is enough for now.
-
simply add a parachute or 2 to parts that will hit kerbin?
-
They would do it faster, but Unity causes development hindrances when there is much content, and that's why they are taking so much time.
Hopefully Unity 5 will cause less problems.
-
Fix the fact that many kerbals cannot walk properly on top of moving rover and the fact that they cant walk on centrifugal gravity generators either.
-
Keep minmus as it is.
-
Unity 5, if not already in 0.24
-
it doesn't work that way. Jet engines cannot consume oxidizer.
The exception is the rapier engine (switch modes) and it has the isp of most rocket engines when burning oxidizer.
-
Someone please do a remake of this mod on curse.

Wiki for plasma acceleration: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plasma_acceleration
CERN uses RF acceleration, and plasma acceleration allows for much stronger acceleration for a given area ie: doesn't need to be enormous to be powerful.
