Sweet, that's awesome! -
KSC Buildings Less Resilient to Impacts
robogungt8 replied to robogungt8's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
This is definitely true. I just wish the other buildings took damage after being bombarded by fuel tanks three times in a row. -
When bombing, err, accidentally dropping fuel tanks on the KSC, I am usually disappointed when the building takes a direct hit and is left standing. Is there any way to turn the strength of buildings down so they would be more likely to explode upon being hit by "random falling objects" or "RFO's"?

Big science lab.
robogungt8 replied to Scarredclown's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
To use it, you have to first do science. Bring some goo and/or the materials bay. Make sure the lab has 2 crew (not the same as the pilot's of the craft) and then you should get the option to send the data to the lab when you perform the experiments. Hope this helps! -
I would agree, however the drawings look great!

Shaky navballs!

I too have this issue sometimes. For me though, it mostly happens when my orbits are very near circular (<100m difference between Ap and Pe). Also happens when I'm making very minute changes in a circular orbit. I think it's the physics engine getting confused calculating direction vectors with very similar number, although I can only speculate. The was I see it, it means the thing have virtually no relative velocity (0.1m/s). I wouldn't worry about it if possible. -

Also, according to the rules about posting challenges, you also have to post your attempt... -

Thanks! I'm not the first person to do it, but I can't remember who I saw that gave me the idea... -
SLS Block 1A Crew Variant Replica
robogungt8 replied to robogungt8's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
On the top (near the comm dish) I put structural panels down in 4x symmetry and then eye-balled the center where they all overlapped. Then I placed a radial attachment point on it. If you want to see more of that station, here's that thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/75630-First-Station-Coming-together-nicely There's just one other picture from a different angle though. -
First Station -- Coming together nicely
robogungt8 replied to robogungt8's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
hmmm... Good point. Maybe I should point it the other way. I kinda pictured it as a large communications dish or a radio telescope... -
Hello everyone! I thought it would be nice to post my SLS replica. I'm sure there are a lot of these, and there will definitely be more to come that will probably look much better than this. However, this replica has a nice feature: Low part count!!! The Space Launch System, Block 1A Crew: On top is my Orion Capsule, which also features a low part count. Here it is docked to my station: Not too bad for stock and low parts, if I do say so myself! CRAFT FILE: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B-y6BIgvH_WAeEUwQjY3LVZhRDQ&usp=sharing Please let me know if this download doesn't work, as it is my first time uploading a .craft with Google Drive. Thanks and enjoy!!

Below is a picture of my first station!! After recently learning to dock, I thought that the best way to practice was to construct a small station. Apparently, everything is going great, because the station that was supposed to have only a few modules is quickly turning into a fully-fledged orbiting base. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the station under construction until now. This is the current progress, and I have flown five missions up to it, four of which added new modules. I have to say, SQUAD has done a great job with the tweakable lights: As you can see, docked to the station is my Orion Capsule replica, which was launched with a SLS Block 1A Crew Variant. All stock and low part count. The SLS replica is in the Spacecraft Exchange! You can go to the thread with this link: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/75633-SLS-Block-1A-Crew-Variant-Replica?p=1073393#post1073393

Which is best NASA Space Program???

But... Constellation... Yeah, it was canceled, but it's still probably one of the most ambitious goals in recent history, and given enough funding, it would've worked too -
