  1. That's not two Mega Latios All pics are from the same prototype, it uses Infernal Robotics' Rotatron Mk2 to rotate it's wings At least this mechanism works flawless.^^
  2. Well, my Mega Latios didn't work too well. It barely flies and is ugly. But surprisingly, it's a pretty decent VTOL. What I would need, is a mod that allows me to create custom parts of a custom shape, because PWings and the existing Parts just won't let me create an acceptable Latios at all. Is there such a mod?
  3. My first time building a huge ship with KSP Interstellar. This is the first prototype of the Kontinent-class ship, the "Im Gedenken an Latios" ("in memory of Latios") With those five DT-Vista Inertials it has a respectable TWR of 1.83. Sadly, we are experiencing a heavy thrust imbalance when all five engines are firing. Now on to build the Mega Latios
  4. This bad boy is the "Titan", a mobile H3/He3/Antimatter production facility. Still needs some tweaking, but serves well as a proof-of-concept. Now to make a nuclear powered electric VTOL to transport Stuff to and from it... P.S: I hope this also counts as a rover?
  5. 7/10 Yeah, I know you, you're the guy that photoshops himself into pictures. And you made some videos.
  6. Too bad Barney Gumble's drinking it out before you can spill it.
  7. I felt that it was time to open a thread for Pokémon on the KSP forums, because it seems to me, that there are indeed some Pokémon fans around here! I thought, that we really needed a seperate place to discuss everything concerning Pokémon. So, for getting started, I would like to know something from you, my dear Pokémon-comrades; What's your favourite Pokémon type? What are your favourite 3 (or more) Pokémon? And why? And, what's most important, do you like Mudkipz? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- My favourite Pokémon type is Steel. I love the fact, that there is not much that can seriously harm a steel Pokémon. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- My #1 favourite Pokémon is Latias. Not a steel Pokémon, I know, but I think it looks very neat and elegant. I mean, it's based on a fighter jet! .It also packs quite a punch, but seriously; what are you expecting from a legendary Pokémon? With it's dragon/psychic-type and it's special ability, it also has quite some nice resistances, what makes it perfect against the average enemy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- My #2 favourite Pokémon is Registeel. Simply because it looks badass, has high values and is a steel-type. Try defeating Brian's Registeel in Pokémon: Emerald and you know what I'm talking about. Fighting a Pokémon that can poison your Pokémon but cannot be poisoned itself is a... 'lovely' experience. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- My #3 favourite Pokémon is Skarmory. (I think it's name sounds waaaay more better in german: "Panzaeron".) Seriously, in every Pokémon-game I play, I'm catching me a Skarmory and name it "Stalin". Most enemies fail in defeating them, because Skarmory has the second-highest type-resistance of all Pokémon - the enemies fail, but Skarmory can hit them very hard! (Or at least annoy them). And it cannot be poisoned. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also like: Latios (same reasons as Latias), Regice (...), Kyogre (cute fish), Rayquaza (badass dragon), Metagross (steel monster) and Magneton ( electro is my #2 favourite type and it's also steel ). I'm playing Pokémon: Black Edition 2 atm and sadly I'm quite disappointed of it Seriously, after playing SoulSilver, Black 2 just feels bad, IMO. Last but not least: Yeah of course, I like Mudkipz!* *I've chosen it as my starter every time I could. That I chose the [GAMES]-prefix IMO doesn't mean, that discussions about the Pokémon anime/ films don't belong here. I just had to select a prefix... I also would like to excuse for my (probably) bad english.
  8. Since my orbital H3/AM-facility wanted to rattle itself into parts, I decided that it would be safer to produce my tritium and antimatter on Kerbin an then ship it to KSC by a yet-to-be-invented plane. Also, to avoid lag, the facility had to be mobile. So after hours of try and error, I came up with this: The "Titan", an enormous Rover with LLL parts, one 3.75 fusion reactor, one 3.75 nuclear reactor and two KSPI science labs (where the antimatter is produced!). It's not super-slow, but tolerates only 2x Time Warp. Now, how do I get this to other planets? I use FAR and Deadly Reentry.
  9. True, some beer. The user below me likes Pokémon.
  10. After reading that the russians successfully tested a Topol-M missile today, I decided to design something similiar in KSP. Infernal Robotics is your friend here. Et voilá, the "Raketenträger 1" ("missile carrier 1"): Ready for launch: ffffwoooosh: FAR makes this flying like a dream. A dream made out of solid fuel. Through the clouds. Even with DRE, it doesn't burn up at ~2200 m/s. Can go intercontinental? Check.
  11. That's Registeel, a Pokémon Also 9/10, I like dragons
  12. 10/10 Because grumpy cat, that's why.
  13. Landing on the red planet, planting the flag of a red country. On the 1st of May. Happy labour day, comrades! ☭☭☭☭☭☭☭
  14. Well, at least your broken German is quite good, honestly, it's better than the German some people are speaking over here *cough*Bavaria*cough* If I wouldn't hate lag, I would also build such...enormous things like you, comrade, but I like to play with tons of mods Too bad there isn't a mod for "our" original V-2 yet ------------------------------------- I also found that article at the Welt quite useful, there was another article about free simulation games, like "Orbiter" or "Energie Tycoon". Here's the link. Maybe you find one of those 20 games interesting, even if you do not understand our wonderful language
  15. I do not always Space Shuttle... ...but when I do, I do Doppelshuttle. I find that this is a very kerbal solution for a well-known problem. Our Space Shuttle-Constructions always suffered from a severe thrust imbalance. But the solution I found, was indeed very kerbal: When you have two identical 16-ton shuttles at your rocket, there is neither a thrust imbalance, nor a displaced CoM. And you have two shuttles at once in Orbit. You ask me who needs two shuttles? I don't know. But I find it cool and it's the only way for me to launch Space Shuttles. See? This is an ascent without any thrust imbalance. The Shuttles "Erich Honecker" and "Walter Ulbricht" in Orbit, the final ascent stage can be refueled and it can decouple it's engine, so that I can attach a big LV-N, for going interplanetary. The Shuttle "Erich Honecker" about to reenter. Now guess which country's flag this is. I have to say, that, especially with B9, building and testing Shuttles is extremely fun. That's the reason I do it. I always feel sorry if one of my shuttles goes Columbia... But I still need some advice about landing my shuttles. They always come in too fast, so the rear engine explodes. Can you help me?
  16. My first Eeloo mission was a glorious success, thanks to my reliable Express 2-Probe. Eeloo Express is now scanning for Ore and Kethane, but I'm not sure if I will set up a permanent outpost or at least a robotic mining mission there. Getting to Eeloo just takes sooooo long...(but isn't complicated)
  17. Tylo, because it's for real men! Really, I like Tylo. My "Tylo Express"-Probe was 2200 m/s fast in a very low Orbit, it was amazing to watch the mountains pass below at an indcredible speed. But then there was this one mountain that was a little too high and too close... Anyway, it was fun and I'm definetely sending another Express-Probe there. Btw, this is Tylo Express over Tylo: It's the one of the old Express 1.
  18. "Landing on Tylo couldn't be too hard." "This wobble is totally normal." "Those explosions during staging are harmless." "Is it just me, or is the ground really getting closer?" Quotations 2 and 4 are from my Tylo Mission, where I tried to conquer Tylo for Kermany with Hans Kerman. Didn't end well.
  20. Wanted to go to the christmas market, for beer and bratwurst, but derp. Got ill. So I had some time for KSP today. And I... ...discovered and named the Josef-Ollin-gorge with Dres Express 2... ...achieved a new speed record... ...with the beautiful F2 Taifun Ausf. 1. Oh, and I also smashed Jool Express into Jool: Right now, I'm working on interplanetary transport ships that don't require orbital assembly. I think I found a good design, but it still needs testing. According to my nomenclature this design should be called Fert.-ITS/RB Ausf. 2-4/22 (o.B.T) but I think I will simply call it the "Österreich"(Austria)-class for obvious reasons .
  21. The Kraken recently ate my two ultra-low scanning probes, "Dres Express" and "Tylo Express" Especially the loss of "Tylo Express" is damn hard for me.
  22. I personally would use the LV-T30's in your launch stage. My motto is: the faster your ascent, the better! But I looked at the demo parts list...this is worse than I expected. At least you have the tiny Solid Fuel Boosters. It would be helpful if you could provide some pictures of your crafts. Today I thought about using the tiny stock SRBs for shorten my interplanetary injection burns. Gonna test this tomorrow. I also thougt about establishing a Space Center (EL is my friend there) at Dres and after that Tylo, because they seem to be good testing sites to me and I like them both very much. Also remember, comrades: Tylo is a moon for real men, because atmosphere is for sissies!
  23. Well, that's just another point for the Euro. I paid only 14,99€ But, if your'e still having trouble landing on the Mun, you will love Tylo: Tylo has a surface gravity of 0,8g, what means you're coming in at ~2200 m/s. You will need a fairly hefty lander there. Tylo eats landers for breakfast. Tip for you: It's not about how much fuel you add, it's about how you use it. I strongly recommend LV-N engines and if you don't have LV-Ns, try LV-909. I could maybe help you more if I would know what parts are at your disposal.
