I named one lifter rocket the "bigass lifter". A friend of mine who plays sometimes named his best plane (a fuel tank with wings and engine) the "assass cruiser". Despite the name it did fly very well. This is the same friend who when I told him I heard a guy tryed to get to the Mun by flying at it said "see it'll work". He very nearly made it too on that one and only try.

Does anybody have their own names for certain parts?

The SAS wheels in general I either call "control" wheels or "stearing" wheels. I like to put them in large stacks and have multiple stacks as well. -
kinnison You get the cookie for being the first to use the moon reference. Sadly I have never made it past minimus.
-
This death star prototype just survived a freefall from roughly 16,000 meters. It wasn't a sphere, just four paneled girdered sections. EDIT: On a side note "spring" action may be the secret to orbital drop pods. Pods with no chutes, engines, or wings I mean.

Top Rocket space agency. Look at this mobile command center I made one time.
-
I used FAR to attempt a spaceplane. Are these speeds normal? I ask because I can barely get a plane off the deck in vanilla and I just got FAR. (It is nice) EDIT:This plane lost some parts then aimed down. It exploded when I tried to nose it up again. Other than a jet car that may be the fastest and lowest thing I have ever made. SUPER EDIT:I got this pile to space. It has jet fuel forever, but barely enough rocket fuel for orbit. I can probably get it back. NUCLEAR EDIT: The next one needs some drouge chutes:(

Why bother with stock wheels?

My first kerbed minimus landing. I have the robotics hinges and such mod. I started out building a minimus rover and I don't know how it came to this. Choo! Choo! MO FO! The report we sent to our bosses ended thusly.

I finally succeeded in my long standing quest to build a cargo plane that I can actually fly. Also the cool little buggy on the back works well. Despite being easy to flip it keeps the three kerbals fairly safe. I got my first blue orb kracken fall through the earth with this thing. The cargo is parachute drop only because I cant land.

Do you have a 'space agency' for KSP?

If it were me, I'd wait until (depending on your location) until you were pointed retrograde to the mun's orbit around kerbin, then blast straight out. Holy crap batman, I am facing perfectly towards kerbin so I can view it, so I can wait some and be in perfect line. I think I am gonna actualy use quick load for the first time ever if this crashes. -
I landed on the mun. In yalls professional oppinion, can it make it back?
-
I landed on the mun my first kerbal. I did not specificaly pick Jeb, he picked the mission himself apparently. Found somthing cool while there. The kerbal has a flag on it. Full size.
