Alright, thanks for the replies. I did buy the game on steam and have used the "go back to stable release" feature and it took me back to a .20 version, which is still quite a bit laggy. I will try playing with the physics slider and see if that helps.

Is it possible to revert my game back to version 0.19.1? That was the last version that I was able to run smoothly on my laptop. All of the newer versions run at 5fps. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to get back into the game since I haven't been able to play since may or June.
