  1. Now I will start off by saying this is a very simple idea and probably quite stupid. However I was thinking it would be cool to maybe have ship discounts when displaying company flags on your ship. For example if you display a rockomax flag then you will get discounts on any rockomax brand parts you have on that ship. However an idea is to make price discounts of more used companies lower and the price discounts of the less broadly used companies higher. This will encourage players to not just slap a rockomax/other highly used manufacturer's flag on every time. Another idea I had was that if you used a custom, non company flag, then this wouldn't alter the prices of parts but instead increase your reputation. That way it would be a nice balancing factor that could lead to two different paths of choice. What do you think?
  2. Recently downloaded this mod and I love it! However I had some questions regarding the fission reactors. I'm using the 2.5m?reactor and same size generator. I am also using 4 medium sized radiator panels, now my reactor has the waste heat bar full and is outputting at 30%. I'm only using 5MW at the moment. How do I increase the output from 30%?

  5. Eve and then Duna... Crashed in to Jool. Going to land on Eeloo to test my ship building.
  6. I don't use any mods apart from mechjeb for space station building, however I was wanting to use the procedual fairings mod. With 0.22 this close would the mod mess up the game like mech jeb does if I update the game? Or would it be fine?
  7. Thanks for the replies guys! I'd never seen that list before! I think that the rediscovering of old planets makes sense when Eeloo becomes a moon to the second gas giant!

  9. I was thinking of a few ideas and I was curious on if or how they could be implemented: 1. On the tech tree, if randomly generated planets were ever added, what about a section where you could upgrade the tracking station/new building to find the new planets, so people couldn't find them from the start, or maybe a tech line that allows the building of orbited telescopes! 2. i was curious about whether there would be a penalty for the loss of kerbals? Like a money penalty? Perhaps this is why kerbals are before probes in the tech tree

  11. Hi guys basically I want to know how you get your rovers to the surface? Sky-crane, Lander? I have only ever once got a rover down on to the mun and you'll see how hilarious it was. My early method was to strap it upside down via a decoupler to the top of a lander, then when landed tip the ship over and decouple the rover hahaha... So Obviously I need better methods! Plus I would also like to put a rover down on Duna, is it the same concept as the mun? or would it need parachutes?

  14. Thank you for all this really in depth stuff! Really appreciate all the effort you went in to! I can now confirm I have a probe orbiting the planet Duna, a Rover on the Mun and I have three parts of my Space-station docked in kerbin orbit! Thanks for the help guys (shame there isn't a rep system here, I'd rep you all )
  15. Now before we begin I'm going to get this out the way; I've had the game for a few months but played it on and off! Yes I have been using mechjeb... don't start a war over it. Anyway basically I've had some problems recently. I can get to mun and minmus easily but with mechjeb I literally cannot get to another planet. It keeps saying the next node is like 220 days and shows no intercept, What am I doing wrong? Then my next question is how to dock? I have the first part of my Kerbal Space Station up (KSS#1) but I don't know how to begin even docking the second part. Then my last question is rovers; How would I deploy a rover to the surface of a moon or planet? (mun for example) thanks for your help in advance
