Somewhere in the 1940s or 1950s Roddenberry and many others used to attend sessions hosted by Fresco when he lived in Los Feliz, Hollywood, and elsewhere around Los Angeles. Fresco also gave presentations to many organizations. Forrest Ackerman was a major admirer of Fresco's and, through Ackerman, many people met Fresco.
