  1. added a few things: + Frozen water. + Easy to resupply from Kerbin. + Food could be grown in underground shelters using thawed water. + Nuclear Engines operate at high efficiency due to the lack of an atmosphere. This would reduce fuel requirements. + A completely solid surface means that kethane deposits could be mined at any point on the planet. + Long term habitats could be dug into the mountains and ground to shelter against solar radiation. - Solar radiation would irradiate any Kerbal who ventured onto the surface without the proper gear. - Very little gravity at all would result in physiological changes over the long term for any kerbals who lived there. - Can Kerbals reproduce in low gravity? I do not know. -Colour would disappear due to solar radiation. (no more coloured rockets :c) Laythe + Plane travel is available + More comfortable gravity + Breathable atmosphere. -... Contains oxygen, but not breathable (an EVA report on Laythe tells about how your kerbal takes off his helmet to breathe the air, but starts gasping and choking and has to put it back on) + Atmosphere allows for parachutes to assist with large landers. + Liquid water.. - .. That's filled with ammonia, which is very difficult to separate from water. - Radiation from Jool would fry any Kerbal not in shelter. - The water covered surface would make kethane mining less viable. - Underground shelters are not viable due to water-saturated soil on very small islands. - The combination of an atmosphere and oceans would result in weather patterns that could pose a threat to a surface colony. - Resupply and emergency aid would be near impossible outside of ships sent at intervals.
  2. It's a MechJeb issue I believe. I sometimes see my probes start spinning at like 10 G's only if I have MechJeb installed
  3. I can no longer use Alt+F12 as my hotkey for the debug menu as F12 also being my scroll lock key. For some reason it over-writes the default action of the F12 key to scroll lock instead. Is there any way to manually change the debug menu hot key?
  4. When you get back onto your computer, go to your KSP directory, then go: KSP Folder>GameData>Squad>Parts>Wheel>roverWheel3> then right click on the file named "part" and open it in notepad. Scroll down the notepad until you find the crashTolerance and impactTolerance. After that just set their values to like 999999 or something.
  5. Whoa. You are coming extremely fast. I would be surprised if you had the fuel to even get into an orbit and return to kerbin. If you want to try and orbit anyways, I would have started to burn maybe 10-15 minutes before periapsis.
  6. I guess you could try setting up an action group to close the intakes.
  7. I have a desktop PC. Also my F12 key is also my scroll lock key. Could that be something? Also is there a way to change the debug toolbar's key binding if possible?
  8. When placing an object in the VAB, you can use W,A,S,D,Q,E to rotate the items. If you want to do a finer rotation, hold shift while pressing W,A,S,D,Q, or E
  9. I am running windows 7 on my new computer, so I decided to transfer my save file from my old computer to my new computer. Once I loaded a game up, I wanted to build a fancy plane that would require part clipping. However, when I press Alt+F12, the toolbar does not appear. At first I thought it was because of my screen ratio or something, so I changed it multiple times. I also tried re-loading the game, but my debug toolbar still wont work. I don't think it's my keyboard because Alt+F2 still opens the debug console. UPDATE: I tried re-installing my game. When I press Alt+F12, it gives a little lag burst and nothing happens. UPDATE 2: I think it's my keyboard as F12 is also my scroll lock key. Is there anyway to re-map the debug toolbar hot key?
  10. Nope, sorry. I don't listen to much music anyways.
