  1. Either my contract configurator is out of date and AVC hasn't told me, or I'm not experiencing this issue. Oh, vastly out of date. I'm still using the October release. Well, while it still works in my save, I think I'll keep it. Unless that's what was causing the nullrefs when I was trying to do the SOS Distress missions. Anyone else have those ships explode and cause the game to nullref? Inigma did say if anyone wanted to maintain it in his absence, to feel free in doing so. I'll see if there's anyone I can poke who knows more about modding than I, I'm just an ideas guy at best w/regards to what I've contributed. That, and I contributed a few props like the airport that hasn't made its way in yet due to CC vessel spawning issues.
  2. Except it's not a bug, it's an intended behavior. The 'agencies' in giving aircraft a purpose contracts generally only want you taking one contract of theirs at a time. There are some exceptions and ways around it, for example you can take a charter flight, an airline flight, an aerial tour, and a 'take some people flying' contract at once and complete them all by stuffing all of the requested kerbals into one aircraft. But that's barely worth considering an exception, as the agencies offering those contracts are all different, IIRC.
  3. complete the "drive a car around KSC" contract. It's preventing other contracts from the category you have expanded there, "Kerbal Space Program" (drive a car, drive a bus, aerial survey, airfield preparation) from being completed as one contract from that category is active.
  4. Is it possible to make sure that the Asst. window can't be dragged offscreen? I just had to restart my game after editing the mod's settings file to put it back onscreen; I'd apparently grabbed hold of the window when turning my camera and flung it way off to -1000x -1000y.
  5. I could theoretically just go in debug mode and complete all the new contracts, remove all the old ones, right? Or at least see where i am on the tree, and make mine look like that. Not all the individual contracts, of course, just the milestone ones.   6. Is it already working with 1.2 and the new Contract Configurator, or will we have to wait on a recompile/the full 1.2.9 update to continue our saves without any chance of things going b0rk? Getting back home tomorrow, streaming 1.2 for the first time this coming tuesday, and I'd like to know so I can prepare accordingly.

  8. When doing the STS fuel pod mission, if you don't have all the parts unlocked in career (and some of them are pretty far along in the tech tree) you can't launch it.
  9. Doing missions in between tends to confuse it, so cancelling and accepting again sounds like a plan. Do it from the alt+f12 menu and you won't lose reputation.
  10. Did you fly any planes/do any missions in between accepting the contract and doing it? Also, did you do the required waiting for clearance to take off.
  11. A few pages back I submitted a craft file and some locations for an airport to be spawned around kerbin for further flying destinations, and brought the science flights up. Like Inigma said, some of this stuff is already down in his milestones. We actually talked at length about the idea! So don't worry, it's something that'll happen down the line; spawning the airports just requires a lot of trial and error to get exactly the right coordinates.
  12. I think it was a problem with things spawning in terrain and exploding, or kerbals dying, or so on. Could've been related to that, maybe?
  13. All you'd have to do is replace the specific coordinates with PQS stuff, I believe. I remember Inigma said he moved to coordinates because PQS was being a buggy hassle. I'm probably not the best source, a lot of this stuff is half-remembered.
  14. Due to the transition from PQS to direct coordinates for contracts in the pack, it wouldn't be all that possible. As of that change, any rescaling of Kerbin is entirely unsupported and probably wouldn't work due to how PQS worked and how explicit coordinates don't work.

Flight 4, Flight 101, and Aerial Tour: Flight 1 are the only ones i'm getting in terms of airline contracts; I don't think i've gotten any seaplane flights in ages either, or shoreline tours, or submarine tours, but then I don't pay much attention to the shoreline or submarine tours anyway. SSI Aerospace-Economy is a silly mess because i started this career back when the "purchase this stuff" contracts were a lot more broad. Also, I'm getting a ton of Buoy Drop contracts but I don't think i've gotten any SOS/rescue climbers/maydays in a while. I could just not be noticing these contracts when they show up, but then I don't know. I've been focusing on my spaceplane program on stream, so GAP contracts haven't been all too in-demand lately If you want any help, I wouldn't mind trying to test some things on my Tuesday stream, see if we come across any other unintended behaviors.
  16. Anyone else having a problem where the only charter flight they're being offered is flight 4, despite having completed the necessary requirements for flights 45 and 5, and having gotten those flights before updating contract configurator?
  17. Makes sense; if the waypoint thing isn't tied to CC, it would also explain why waypoint manager proceeded to get more and more broken each time I touched it in my test save.
  18. GAP and CC work fine in 1.1.3, the only reason I won't be streaming 1.1.3 tonight is due to Waypoint Manager, KER, Ambient Light Adjustment, and Take Command not being up to date.
  19. I also made a littler, tower-less sort of outpost design using the hangar and fuel tank. I had mentioned the idea of charter flights ferrying archaeologists to the pyramids or such for science return, this could be a little research outpost there. Could also put one at the UFO, and any other anomalies. Pictured here, it's in the best looking place i could manage with how hyperedit decided to rotate it.
