  1. It's possible to manually enter densities on the second site. Plugging in the statistics, though, shows that there will be very little actual damage.
  2. Copied from the "What not to suggest" list: * Use of other hardware platforms or operating system types A mobile version of the game would eat up too much of the developers' time and would delay updates that make the game better. If you want mobile KSP try looking into SimpleRockets. I hope this resolves your suggestion.
  3. Rule 6 says you must calculate the next integer in the sequence. Since Chrisd857 posted 195, you need to get to 196. (I don't know how to do that, but it seems like a really easy one.)
  4. This is me exactly. I specialize in building second stages that circularize, transfer, enter orbit around the target, and do most of the landing. Unfortunately, this can have some annoying consequences - like the time I dropped my transfer stage onto the Mun and it survived impact. Sigh. More debris that I didn't want. :/
  5. I attempted to build, fly, and land a jet-powered plane (with a rocket booster - why not?) It's certainly ugly, but mostly functional.
  6. Recently, I have taken a break from science and have made a lifter that can carry station parts or small spaceships to orbit. It was really easy to design it - there was only one failed attempt before the final design was made. The ideal payload size is one X200-32 fuel tank, or combinations of parts about that size. Since I didn't have a station in Kerbin orbit yet, I figured I could assemble it using my new lifter. The station module is now in a stable orbit below the core's orbit and the crew are patiently waiting while I research rendezvous and docking. Mods: KW Rocketry, KAS
  7. What follows is a tale of sheer stupidity. After my first "successful" Mun landing, the ship ended up stuck in a highly elliptical polar orbit because it didn't have enough fuel to get back home. I decided, reasonably, to sent a rescue mission up there to retrieve Jebediah and the science stored on the ship. I build the ship, click "Launch", and find that Bill managed to get aboard. There is only one spot on the ship and it was reserved for Jebediah, so I EVA Bill out onto the side fuel tanks. *facepalm* Revert flight. Bill is still on the ship. Well, I honestly have no idea why I didn't expect that. This time I have the incredibly Kerbal idea of intentionally leaving him on the side tanks and then depositing him in orbit. (Perhaps a slightly smarter idea would have been to leave him in the capsule until the ship reached orbit.) A slight staging error meant the side tanks fell off and Bill plummeted to his death. Revert flight. Everything is exactly the same as before, but this time Bill overtakes the rocket during a staging process and then falls to his death again. Oh well, at least the side tanks are still on. During the next staging, something explodes (I don't know what, but there were multiple explosions) and the entire middle section of the rocket is gone, apparently having been torn off by the staging and destroyed by the temporary flailing-around of the other fuel stacks. The rocket still makes it into orbit fairly well and is now in a nice little Kerbin orbit, perfectly ready for the next stage of the journey.
