  1. He's possibly having the same exact problem as I am, the game. doesn't crash. it just dead stops at the jet pods. no errors, no crash, no crash log, nothing except a game that refused to do any more. only difference is that when i removed my B9, the problem stopped.
  2. Still forever patiently waiting for a 0.23 compatible version. yes i am aware that the community has taken care of this temporarily, but i've been having problems with it.
  3. Yes, the game would just seize mid-load until i came back to it a couple hours later to end the task. and it wasn't crashing, so there would be no log. i'll be trying the plug-in updates now, i'll let you know if/when it works. EDIT: i haven't tried the updates yet, but having compared my gamedata folder with the B9 .zip, i noticed the the entire Firespitter subfolder was missing, not sure if that's what could be causing it, but the more you know... EDIT x2: running the test with the updated plugins. Test was semi-successful. it went farther than the jet pods this time. but got stuck at a B9 RCS port
  4. i have a small problem that's been plaguing my gameplay for the past month, i have had installed B9 Aerospace for a while now, but since 0.23 rolled out, i noticed some issues while loading. i noticed that after about ten minutes, the game would get stuck on the Jet Pods. i've tried letting the game run for hours on end, but it's consistently stopping on those specific models. for a while i just blamed it on 0.23. but now i'm not so sure. i'm pretty sure it's not a lack of memory either. it wasn't crashing. so at this point, i'm not sure if it's something i'm missing, if it's something wrong with the mod or just because of 0.23. things that i HAVE tried include: Removing my texture compressor, lowering the mod load (by removing KW Rocketry), and letting it go over night. Things that i HAVEN'T tried is re-installing B9, removing all mods, removing said parts and manual installation. I've been using KSP Mod Admin for the automation. Mods installed are as follows: B9 (obviously), KSP Interstellar, Mechjeb, Novapunch, a texture compressor, Kethane and Procedural Fairings as well as the recently removed but probably to be re-added KW Rocketry I am also currently trying to load without the jet pods. EDIT: it would appear as though ALL the jet engines are producing the same effect turbofans included. EDIT x2: another thought has occurred to me. 0.23 rolled out at roughly the same time as i started using Mod Admin, so i don't know which could be causing it, if it is either. I am also running again with a couple Texture reduction packs for B9, KW and Squad textures. no improvement
  5. Am i the only person who has noticed the yellow and black electric bolt icon and is wondering what it is? i don't see a lot of posts relating to it.
  6. I remember hearing somewhere that when you're time accelerating, the data coming back to the scanner is "rushed" in a way so that the data is less accurate, is it true?
