I've found that time warp within 1km of a station results in the space station exploding. 1. Anyone else getting this? 2. is this new?

Create a ship containing a refinery and drills that can both mine and refine ore into fuel. Sections can be separate(my plan is to have a mining probe that returns to a refinery in orbit).

I often make a basic test ship, lacking parachutes and other equipment because I don't think I'll make it where I'm going. Then of course everything works as I had hoped, and I have a ship that cannot return home.

I've been playing KSP for a considerable amount of time. I can land on the Mün and Minmus without any problem. I once managed to get a probe in orbit around Eve, but ran out of fuel before landing. My question is where do I start for interplanetary missions? With the new science updates, a mission that returns to Kerbin would be preferable, but anything would do. Any advice is much appreciated.
