  1. I thought it was too easy. I almost completed my research tree without even going beyond the mun.(I researched sun orbit once) And i didn't even research all the mun biomes.
  2. I hold down middle mouse button and scroll up and down to get the angle. Did you tried that method?
  3. Yes, i tried it too and it definitely have an influence. But i don't think it will help that much. I was above 150km trying to push my ship back to kerbin, but it's push was too small for me to continue.
  4. The vanilla est.burn displays depending on the last amount of thrust. Is there a mod that calculates it depending on the total thrust of currently activated engines? Also i'm wondering if dev could fix it. For me it seems rather easy to fix.(Maybe i'm wrong)
  5. Yes, i am aware of that. But if we were for realism than we would have take out the engine sound as well. Since this is somewhat a game, user experience becomes more priority. And i believe adding few sound effects could actually bring more immersive experience. I don't mean wind whistling sound in space, But sounds for rcs, communications, eva(breathing sound?), ship crackling, instruments could really really be juicy to hear and actually make you feel more like you're there controlling a ship. You're right that game mechanics and assets should be more of a priority. But just basic sounds for the current parts(rcs, science) that are lacking would be greatly beneficial.
  6. I doubt that this isn't suggested yet but i'll put it up here just in case. Currently if you can check any planet's every detailed information like it's radius, presence of atmosphere and so on(when in mapview the button on the right) But Can't we make this informations unknown untill we do detailed observation with science equipments? for example, for temperature you actually need to bring a thermometer, for gravity a gravetron, for atmospher the atmosphere measuring device and such. The only info given in start would be it's radius, period of day, etc. This would make probes really important before sending a manned vessel. For example you would have to know if duna have an atmosphere to decide if you should send a manned vessel with a parachute or with rockets. I think this would make the game really fun.
  7. I'll be honest I really don't like the current sound and music of the KSP(I am sorry Mr.Castillo) I don't want to be mean, but there are often moments where i really don't like to hear the sound effects i would just take off my headphones. Although many people would not find sound important, I believe that improving the sound would utmost improve the gameplay experience of current players. I would like to keep this thread simple and straight forward, so i'll try to list my opinions. 1. Too constant and monotoneous sound? My main complaint is on the sound of the rockets firing. It's the same sound for the entire flight and it's probably the only sound you hear during space travel so it is very important. But this is the sound i really didn't like and it is the main cause that made me turn off the volume, especially when there are several rockets firing at full thrust. I can't think of a solution for this but i hope we will find out a way to make the rocket sounds more juicy(?) or at least less irritable and more variable. maybe we could add different sounds depending on the total thrust?(instead of just crunching all sounds together) And you could add more sound effects for such as the vessel shaking? 2. lack of sounds. The only sound you hear during space travel is when you fire off those engines from time to time and music. I don't know why rcs and other science instruments have to lack sound effects. Just adding sound effects for those parts would greatly provide immersive experience 3. Differing sounds for cockpit view? I think this would be really good idea. Making sounds differ in cockpit(more muffled and bigger vessel shaking noise)
