  1. This seems to be a challenge of attrition, as it can take hours to culminate enough delta-v to make it to other planets.
  2. You could always simply introduce a super-virus into the ecosystem, wait for everyone to die, and then release massive quantities of antidote into the atmosphere.
  3. Can you post a pic of a craft with 50-fold symmetry? My mind wishes to be exploded.
  4. In 0.23, whenever I send out an unmanned probe to collect science, after I do an experiment and transmit the data, the science module goes offline. This makes unmanned probes completely useless. (And extremely frustrating when I got to Eve.) Am I doing something wrong? *Forgive my misspelling of "disappearing", I tried to edit the title. but it wouldn't let me.
  5. That rocket was seriously overpowered...perhaps you should use the bigger 2.5 meter parts, or practice more efficient orbital maneuvering and landing.
  6. Is there a trick to making (small) spherical objects out of structural panels? (I'm attempting to make a aesthetically accurate Soyuz spacecraft, using the Mk1-2 Command Pod, and the orbital module still needs to be worked on.)
  7. Awesome! However, I think the orbital Orb is a bit unbalanced, as it can only fit 2 kerbals, while the hitchhiker can fit 4. (they are the same size) Otherwise, good job!
  8. Well, it seems like the students at Kerbal University have received a small grant to launch a satellite into orbit. You, as the chief engineer, need to make sure that the satellite and rocket are as cheap as possible. Your goals: 1. Create a cheap, self-sustaining satellite with at least 1 science module, and antenna attached 2.Create a cheap, rocket 3.Launch payload into orbit. 3.Buy a mansion with all the money you just saved Only mod allowed, is the procedural fairings mod. (all rockets must include a fairing) Scores are based on how much the rocket costs. Happy launching!
  9. The Kerbal Train Won with a grand total of *Insert drum noises here* 2,161 points! O_o Wow. Just wow.
  10. Bizmar=701 Iluinrandir=701 Could you guys submit a download like to the rovers? Ill test them, and see whose is more noob-friendly, and the winner. Great job!
  11. Sorry. I know the definition is a bit ambiguous, but here`s what I mean. http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Radial_size
  12. I was wondering who could build the smallest rover. RULES: 1.By "smallest", I mean the rover w/the least diameter. 2.As actually measuring the rover is difficult, you will be awarded points based on the part it can fit on top of,(1.25m etc) and the amount of kerbals that can fit on/in it. 3.Rover should be self-sufficient POINTS: 1- can fit in a 2 meter part. 100- can fit in a 1.25 meter part 500!- can fit in a 0.5 meter part +50 points for each kerbal Happy Building!
  13. Is the "ravenspear" aircraft pronounced "raven-spear" or "ravens-pear"?
  14. When perusing the forums, I often come upon words like "bi-elliptic transfer", and "ballistic transfer". Could you tell me all the different kinds of orbital transfers, and their pros and cons. (except a Hohmann transfer. I already know what that is.) Please get back to me soon!
  15. Well... Ive watched this video And im just curious if a rolling spacecraft/rover manned or unmanned is practical. And if so, how could i improve upon danny`s design to make one that doesnt explode? And on a completely unrelated note... Sometimes when I launch some of my smaller aircraft designes off the runway, after a certan amount of time, they flip out and explode. Is there a crack in the runway? And how do I fix this?
  16. I am using the fusion engine from the KSP Interstellar mod, to re-create the conical VISTA spacecraft. Anyway, I need some tips. 1.Can you give me some tips on how to recreate the conical part of the spacecraft using structural panels? 2.Where should the RCS blocks go? And on a completely unrelated note... 3. How do you make those 'bendy' supports? :)Please get back to me soon!
