Realistic Solar System Crafts - MEGATHREAD
BritOpsGaming replied to Captain_Party's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Your mistaken, this thread is for craft made for RSS granted but because of the realism overhaul mod which changes stats and allows for some part mods to be used for stand ins for engines, fuel tanks and other such items meaning that you would have to get the correct mods to make the craft work as RSS only re-scales the celestial bodies. This is also a showcase thread and the main post says that you can share you're craft files but does not imply you have to. There is also another thread which requires craft files to be uploaded which is the .24.2 Realism Overhaul Craft Repository. What I am not trying to do is discourage the sharing of crafts but I am just saying that the first post did not specifically mention that you had to put craft files of the crafts you are showcasing. -
Realistic Solar System Crafts - MEGATHREAD
BritOpsGaming replied to Captain_Party's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
You do not have to post a craft file because everyone uses different mods making it very difficult to make it work in other peoples saves as some parts might have had their configs altered by the craft makers to fulfill more specialized functions. -

InfiniteDice -=Skillful=- Combat Damage & Weapons Mod
BritOpsGaming replied to InfiniteDice's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I cannot wait as this mod looks and sounds really good. My Kerboko IB just needs arming and we are good to go. By the way will the "7.62mm - automated aircraft turret" be a automated turret to put on bombers? And a request for R2: A quad 50 emplacement (ww2 CIWS), duel gun aircraft turrets and AT artillery pieces (field guns). -

InfiniteDice -=Skillful=- Combat Damage & Weapons Mod
BritOpsGaming replied to InfiniteDice's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
InfiniteDice is there any chance for some artillery pieces, such as howitzers, field guns and mortars. -
OK, so i have finished up the basic model for my first part. It is a small service engine designed for satellites and small vessels and will hopefully run of mono-propellant. I just need to make a texture and rig it unity. Here's a quick render.

tygoo7, HIADs are Hypersonic Inflatable Aerdynamic Decelerators. Which means an inflatable heat shield.

Hello. I have started a project to design and develop a range of items to be used in your rocketry designs. I plan to make a series of capsules with PAPL (parachute assisted powered landing) systems similar to the Soyuz, also I plan to make some HIADs (hypersonic inflatable aerodynamic decelerators), rover parts, a les for all of the different capsules and I am also planing some utilities. Edit:

UKSA - Mission logs. Centaur I + KCS I mission. Launch Information: Launch time: Early morning 8:30am. Launch Mass: 87.776 Metric tons. Max launch acceleration: 15.65 m/s squared. Launch TWR: 1.6. Total delta V: 5240m/s atmosphere, 5802m/s vacuum. Bob and Bill were ecstatic to find out that there mission proposal was selected for the agencies first mission but they consulted with the rocket division to create the Centaur I launch vehicle. The mission was a success that increased the budget for the next two robotic missions to complete the Kerbo-Synchronous Communications Network.

Hello I was planing to continue on with my original mission log thread I created back in 0.22 but since the update broke some of the mods I was using and were part of most of my spacecraft designs, so I decided to restart. The Flag of UKSA. Mission parametres: Minimal space debris, Most launch vehicles have to be reusable, Minimal loss of life and Missions must have a purpose. Save corrupt please delete.

UKSA - Mission Logs. Mission 8 Firefly II. http://imgur.com/a/58kj4#0 Mission Objective: Repeat of Firefly one but with a space walk. Crew: Mitray Kerman Mission summary: The mission was a disaster as the Titan II did not perform well at all as straight after it cleared the launch clamps it pitched over 70 degrees causing the abort to fire. Thankfully no kerbals were lost as the capsule splashed down in the bay near the space centre.

UKSA - Mission Logs. Mission 7 Hermes II. http://imgur.com/a/w8Jpj#0 Mission Objective: Put a small SAR altimeter and spectrometre equipped satellite in a 90 degree inclined orbit then proceed to scan the planetary surface to make a preliminary height map of the terrain. Mission summary: The mission is ongoing but the launch and orbital insertion went mostly to plan however the Titan I drifted to the right as it did it's gravity turn so Hermes II had to use it's mono-propellant engines to correct and then boosted itself into a higher orbit. Hermes II is fully operational and is working within normal parametres and has began planetary cartography.
-
UKSA - Mission Logs. Mission 6 Firefly I. http://imgur.com/a/oaH77#0 Mission Objective: Test the Titan II launch vehicle and put a kerbal in space. Crew: Danbro Kerman Mission summary: The mission was nearly a complete success but the Firefly I orbiter sustained a major engine malfunction so had to de-orbit using the reaction control system and ended up over shooting the targeted landing zone however the new launch vehicle the Titan II worked better than expected and delivered it's payload into LKO and de-orbited leaving no debris.

UKSA - Mission Logs. Mission 4 KEOCS IV. http://imgur.com/a/ApCYK#0 Mission Objective: Put a communications satellite in kerbo-synchronous orbit then separate it form KEOCS I and KEOCS III. Mission summary: The standard KEOCS design was modified to include the booster unit. Mission was a complete success as the Titan I delivered it's payload into KEO, put KEOCS IV roughly 4000km away from KEOCS I and roughly 6000km from KEOCS III then successfully de-orbited leaving no debris in orbit and even put on a light show for the folks back at the KSC. Kerbin equatorial orbit communication satellite IV is operational and working within normal parametres. Communications network is complete for now.

UKSA - Mission Logs. Mission 3 KEOCS III. http://imgur.com/a/aN59s#0 Mission Objective: Put a communications satellite in kerbo-synchronous orbit then separate it form KEOCS I. Mission summary: The standard KEOCS design was modified to include the booster unit. Mission was a complete success as the Titan I delivered it's payload into KEO, put KEOCS III roughly 6000km away from KEOCS I and successfully de-orbited leaving no debris in orbit. Kerbin equatorial orbit communication satellite III is operational and working within normal parametres.

UKSA - Mission Logs. Mission 2 KEOCS II. http://imgur.com/a/ON8az#0 Mission Objective: Put a communications satellite booster unit in kerbo-synchronous orbit then rendezvous with KEOCS I and dock. Mission summary: After noticing that the standard KEOCS style satellite will not quite cut it for orbital communications, a booster unit was designed to increase the capabilities of the satellite and to make it more efficient. Mission was a complete success. The Titan I proved to be an effective launch vehicle able to deliver it's payload to kerbo-synchronous orbit and rendezvous with KEOCS one to deliver a communications booster unit. No debris left in orbit. KEOCS communications booster unit docked and working within normal parametres.

UKSA - Mission Logs. Mission 1 KEOCS I. http://imgur.com/a/BSOqG#0 Mission Objective: Put a communications satellite in kerbo-synchronous orbit. Mission Summary: Mission was a complete success. The Titan I proved to be an effective launch vehicle able to deliver it's payload to kerbo-synchronous orbit with out leaving any debris in space. Kerbin equatorial orbit communication satellite is operational and working within normal parametres.
