T + 1:02:07- POSP - First Orbit of Kerbin Prestige Mode Scoring System Here's a spreadsheet with the full scoresheet.

For each celestial body, you can earn points for the following tasks: Encounter - 1 pt. Orbit - 2 pts. Landing - 3 pts. Land and Return - 4 pts. Being the first program to accomplish these tasks doubles the points. Duna, Eve, and Dres are worth double the amount of points. Moho, Jool, and Eeloo are worth triple. For Land and Return missions, there are also points awarded for cheapest mission, shortest mission time, and most Kerbins returned

There are two special accomplishments that can come into play: "Hit the Bullseye" - 10 points Be the first to hit the island at the center of the crater on Kerbin. "Its for better cell phone service!" - 15 points Be the first to put an object in geosynchronous orbit.
 2. POSP's tried and true rocket looks to make its first Mun landing. KSA decides the only way its going to make history is to go out with a bang! Episode 10: Giving the People What they Want

Plus One Space Program 52 points Objective: Space Race to 50 points T+5:03:04 Kerasian Space Agency 19 points

First to land on the Mun (+6 points) Scoring Plays: No scoring plays

No science unlocks Science Unlocks: No science unlocks

Season 2 of our Kerbal Space Race Series pits the Plus One Space Program managed by Rich against the Kerasian Space Agency administered by JJ. In this season, we've implemented a scoring system that rewards a space program for achieving different accomplishments. Our first task is to earn 50 'Prestige Points'. We are going to try and keep things as stock as possible. The mods we are currently using: TAC Part Lister v1.2 Kerbal Alarm Clock v2.7.0.0 And here's a link to our previous space race in case you missed it.
 3. Hey everyone! JJ here from the Kerasian Space Agency! Rich from the Plus One Space Agency and I have had a lot of fun bringing this space race to you. We have finished up our .22 space race with two last episodes! both programs (finally!) leave Kerbin and head to the Mun and Minmus. In honor of NASA's MAVEN launch, we get ambitious and head to Duna in !The space race concept will be back for version .23! The next race will also expand well beyond scientific unlocks, but probably will contain a similar amount of Kerbal sacrifices on the launch pad. I've upgraded my mission control mic so Jeb will hear the panic in my voice much clearer than simple heavy breathing. !
 4. Simland and I have had a lot of fun (sadly at the expense of several Kerbals) making these space race videos. Our progress certainly leaves much to be desired since most of our attempts (ok, my attempts) seem to end in disaster. With 0.23, this gives us a chance to restart the race, and I plan on giving the race an actual structure and I wanted to see if the community wanted to weigh in on what we do. The plan is to set up a points system. For each celestial body, 1 point would be given for the first encounter, 2 points for the first successful orbit, 3 points for the first landing on a body, and 4 points for the first landing and return (of at least one kerbin, not necessarily all of them). Game time will be used to see who was first. Reverting back from a crash will not be allowed! Bonus points will also be awarded. These points are temporary. 2 points are for quickest transit. 2 points are for cheapest rocket design. 3 points are for the highest number of Kerbals transported to a body and back. I wanted to get other people's thoughts on if other objectives or scoring should be added. There will be a public google spreadsheet tracking our progress, scores, and milestones, on top of the usual videos of me crashing.
 5. Sadly my engineers continue to be thwarted by the whole "Physics" thing... Soon though, I promise all of Kerbal-kind that we will go to Minmus and beyond! Right after we fix our whole "rocket explosion" issue...
 6. I'd like to add the Kerbal Space Race to the list as well. My friend and I are racing to get further up the research track and reach larger milestones. We have about the same experience and skill in the game so it should be pretty interesting (we hope!). I'm sure there will be plenty of comedy (more from poor ship design than commentary) for everyone as well.
 7. Despite the “loss†in the first leg of the space race, the Kerasian Space Agency has made significant strides in scientific advancement and space exploration for Kerbin. Our agency wasn’t the first to orbit the planet. The other space agency may have orbited the Mun, but that has not deterred KSA’s mission to send a Kerbin to land on the Mun, Minmus and send probes to explore the farthest reaches of Kerbol system (using methods more efficient than Plus One’s first Mun trip almost killing their Kerbinaut). We ask for the continued support and patience of the Kerbin Congress and people in the name of scientific progress and discovery for all.
