But... how?
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you don't have the flickering problem anymore. But it's frustrating that I do and you don't, since we both installed RVE
I have absolutely no idea, I installed SVE and the flicker somehow went away... All I did was rename the planets and that's about it, I'm really confused as to what happened here... Have you managed to fix it by using the scatterer that is included in the latest release ?

are you getting a drop in FPS with the scatterer config?
Not really It's working great, the flicker isn't there anymore it's just occasional slight flicker (just like the regular scatterer stuff)

You're welcome, I'm glad I could help.
Just a quick tip: create a new folder and name it something like "working KSP" and then each time before you start screwing around with mods, cope the entire Kerbal Space Program folder from your steam/steamapps/common file and put it in the "working KSP" folder. Never lose progress again.
Okay so I just did what you told me and surprisingly it works, and I have no idea why but the flicker is gone... Some clouds need their altitute to be raised but other than that it's working great !
Will there be an RVE or SVE config included in future releases ?

I have SVE working nicely. Looks good. I downloaded and followed regular install instructions. I then deleted the city lights folder (don't like them). Then I went into the file called "clouds" and manually changed all the names from Kerbin/Mun/Duna to Earth/Moon/Mars respectively. Looks NICE.
Edit: Oh, did the same with the "shadows" file.
Thanks! I'm gonna try that. I managed to get it working before but the altitudes for the clouds were wrong, and now for some reason it just won't work anymore.

Are you using the scatterer included in the DL or are you downloading it separately?
I'm having the same issue with the Scatterer from the latest version.
By the way, has anyone managed to get RVE (or SVE) to run with SSRSS ?

So its one of these two things causing it... Scatterer or the 0 inclination, ill narrow it down more.

Sorry but I'm not really sure how to share logs, nor if that is the correct file (I've only been around here since yesterday)
This was done with stock KSP, with only the necessary mods, 4k texture for RSS and Scatterer removed.

It was all working fine yesterday, sorry about his guys. :/
It's okay man take your time, you guys have released fantastic stuff, I'm pretty sure you will get it sorted out !
I'm gonna try with lower resolution textures and without scatterer to see if anything happens.

I'm getting the same bug, when trying to launch a stock plane as soon as I hit space to change stage, the screen goes black, and in map mode I just see the galaxy with no Earth.
I'm trying in a fresh install with no more mods if it's any help.
Does it do this for you as well ? It did this on a stock install, no mods except the required ones... I pressed spacebar, the entire universe disappeared, even from the map mode. Then leaving the map it did this lmao.

There you go
I CALLED IT LMAO
On another note... Is it normal that as soon as I turn on my engines my screen fades to black...? The HUD and all are still here it's just my whole world that disappears. I tried on my modded install and my stock one it does the same. (why am I always getting the wildest glitches...)I'm gonna try 1.2, if not could it be because of the 8k textures for RSS ?

We beat Squad's time of reaching 1.1
Feels good....
Gonna try to beat 1.2 as well ?
The mod is just amazing I'm testing right now, can't wait for SVE to be made compatible ^^ -

Try this and replace your EnviromentalVisualEnhancements folder with it
Working perfectly now thank you so much !

That is so awesome. Do some planets have terrain scatter like the stock ones ?

Are you sure its SVE and not Scatterer? Because that definitely sounds like a Scatterer bug to me, remove scatterer and see if you still get NRE spam.
I just tried removing Scatterer and installing SVE only, I still get the same problem. I can confirm this only happens when using SVE, whether the game is stock or not. It's pretty odd because it does work, I'm just wondering if it's going to cause problems later on if I keep playing ? So far I haven't experienced a single crash. (even after around 2 hours of playing.)

That looks just amazing... You're making art right there.
Where is the KSC going to be located ? Florida ?

It does work in 1.1.2 but it strangely keeps throwing exceptions non stop when flying from the runway...(?)
For example, pointing the camera towards the sea is alright, as soon as I turn it around and face the mountains it's just a waterfall of exceptions. (I don't really understand what it is but I'm guessing it's not right, right ?)
Other than that it seems to be working fairly okay, I did not notice anything strange. I've tried with and without mods and can confirm the exceptions I was getting were from SVE.By the way you have the best visual mod I've ever seen !
-
I've had the same problem with similar mods too, it rendered all my launches impossible. This glitch happened to me with a stock craft without tweakscale. I hope it has been fixed since the new update.

The green button starts the download, right? I don't speak French.
Yep, you have to click the greyish one first ("Téléchargement Gratuit") then click on the green one.
Awesome indeed, great work for compiling and creating the missing textures mate !

Glad you got fixed too!
