Built a science Rover for minimus. Turned into a bobsled... Back to dust. Almost got 70m/s on the surface.

Right-click causes camera to spin
Trenchfoot replied to Zild's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
I don't know how to fix it, but I've noticed the same thing with my game. I'll all the sudden have a vicious change of view when I go to click the other side of the screen. Seems to like to happen on the right click that clears context menus... -
Has anyone else seen this? I mis-engineered my communication satellites by putting not nearly enough batteries. Every time they are eclipsed by Kerbin or Mun, they shut down for a second. OK, My bad, It gets weird when they all three seem to be shut down because I never switched back to "fly" them. I even went back to look in the Space center and all three appeared to be dead. When I "flew" them again in the sun, The connections reappeared for each. Is this a bug?

I started playing .19 and only have 250+ hours but I got my money's worth the first time I splatted old Jeb into the Muns surface attempting to land. The 230 hours or so since then are all gravy.

Uh, I've been at it since .19, and I don't ever remember seeing it.

My idea for a couple simple tweaks.
Trenchfoot replied to Trenchfoot's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
1. Absolutely beautiful. It's perfect. I'd kiss you but I won't. 2. I thought this was a troll at first, but the desired result is exactly what I was looking for as well. Your a gentleman and a scholar. Thanks. -
I would like to see a few things either implemented or allow me to check a box to make them work. 1. Please let us scroll through all of the parts in the VAB. Under each tab there is 3 or 4 pages of stuff. I'd love to be able to use my scroll wheel and move down the window instead of having to turn a page. 2. How about not having to click 4 times to exit the game? An exit to windows button would be great. Oh and quit with the "Really Quit" please. I pushed exit game, I'm a big boy. If I screwed up, I know where the icon is to relaunch it. Thanks Squad for an awesome game.

I've seen it done on Youtube and such. I'm trying to put 3 Remote Tech Satellites in Geo Synchronous orbit of Kerbin in one launch. I've got one of the three way adapters upside down like this, When attaching to the decouplers the satellites just won't clip to the green dots. All it gives me is this. What gives? Can someone please explain how to build a triple launcher? Do they need to be inline? Maybe it's the adapter thing? Also each satellite needs an octo right? Thanks for any help in advance.

I'm not tailgating... I'm aero braking.

Launching Several Remote Tech Sats with one launcher?
Trenchfoot replied to Trenchfoot's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I have a communotron 32 on the probe. You can barely see the probe core with the three docking ports on it... If I need another, I plan on using one from a satellite itself until I undock it. I was wondering if I should build gargantuan ones with the huge dishes or wait. - - - Updated - - - That's just what I was looking for. Thank you. That brings up another question though. Where/How do I find the orbit's elapsed time? -
I'm trying to launch all three of my kerbin geostationary orbital com sats in one launch. I've seen someone on you tube do it with an elliptical orbit where they decouple one at a time each time the launcher gets to its apoapse. 2868.75 km. Has anyone else done this? Any helpful tips? Also this is my Payload(s) I know the launcher is OP but hey it's sandbox... Do I need more antenna on each one to be scalable for the future?

EVA camera rotates, how to turn it off
Trenchfoot replied to johnnyhandsome's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
For me, the Eva camera has always been wonky. If anything, They've made a huge improvement for the camera by zooming to your kerbalknaut when first EVAing. I remember having to try and find him on the outside of the ship. They would randomly just lose grip on the ship too... ah the good ol days. -
Every rocket flipping out arund 9 or 10 km
Trenchfoot replied to Szkeptik's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Wow, I must do everything wrong. I'm gonna have to slow down too. But my rockets don't flip out anymore, fixed it with fins.
