  1. Either way, my Copyright ID claims have been dropped so I'm happy (and quickly too) I think you could have a case either referencing Kevin as the original artist and covered by CC or Squad as the sound tracks are a part of their game and covered under the games disclosure. I managed to get a copy of the songs from somewhere (cant remember right now) and the artist in the mp3 description lists both Squad and Kevin. I cant vouch how legit the mp3s are though so take that with a grain of salt.
  2. Well CD Baby has released my videos from their claim, hopefully I wont have a recurring claim, I think CD Baby is getting sick of reviewing all the oodles of matching claims!
  3. Once again I dont visit forums enough so here they are, still not getting it quite right... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxkkK_huPsM with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg-lrcSnODQ and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ma0sE_QHKlk along with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqe3yk-sjy8 and I'm having fun with silly bamboo music loving people in the next vids so expect them soon...
  4. Well I had a second report for the same song on another video so I have disputed that one accompanied with this explanation.. "As per the webpage FAQ of the game Kerbal Space Program ( kerbalspaceprogram.com/faq.php ), under Miscellaneous reds a stub "I uploaded a gameplay video to Youtube. Is it okay for me to monetize it?" and when you expand the stub you read "Yes, by all means. If you are having many views and want to seize the opportunity, go ahead. We just ask to be given credit, a mention and a link to our website is enough. You must also make it perfectly clear that we are the copyright holders of KSP." The music track in question is under their copyright and bears no resemblance to "Emily Taylor-Bamboo Wind Chimes" by CD Baby what so ever. Please have your Content Id Matching software looked at." ...and I'm making sure at the end of my descriptions I have.. "Game and Music is the copyright property of Squad 2013 kerbalspaceprogram.com" Should be enough to shut them up. I had a good listen to both songs and the only thing that remotely sounds the same is the background of the bamboo music, which I would love to know how to screen the wind chimes out. The would require some major tech and know how to do.
  5. I've been picked up also, and I've disputed it along with editing in Kevin's link and general CC text he has on his website. This other person should be flogged, fancy ripping off a whole track, add a few chimes in and call in theirs....really
  6. Well looks like the reporter has been slack in bringing the updates (Good one Raetac ) so here we go.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tg33TGaVOw0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXk2fBQDrPE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaEDMp0nkBw The editor made a mess of the title image of the following, should be recitfied soon.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQFk9u-zbcI
  7. Welcome everyone, I am am Raetac and it is my dubious honor to present my video diary of my adventures sending the little balls of cuteness into space (and hopefully back again!). In the past I taught myself how to get craft into orbit, but now as we are learning science I think it is high time I try and push past that with the help of the Directors of the Kerbal Space Program and that is YOU the viewer! The first flight has come back from the editor (Hurry up Raetac with the next two! Yes, yes.. I'm getting there...) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L12ACifF7Cw So once the slave....erm I mean editor has finished with the footage of the next couple of flights, I'll be sure to present them to Directors for futhur analysis (Hopefully they might give me something more than a nod and a "That's fine Chief Designer..." )
  8. Very nice series, and great quality here. Look forward to many more to come
  9. All seems pretty good, however do you use a pop filter? You can make one with pantyhose and a wire coat hanger, or head out to a music store and pick one fairly cheaply. All told a very good first video
  10. Well, I can remember a couple of games from the C64, Ghostbusters on the cartridge... Nothing that was on the tape drive really standout but when we hit the 5.25 floppy drive things took off. Might and Magic 2 got a thrashing and Adventure Construction Set kept my interest for ages. That all I can remember from then but whe nI got my hands on the AT series of IBM's there were so many more games to dip my toes into. My family has rather unique tastes in games, my daughters seem to stick to what they know, the first real game I introduced to , Minecraft. They do venture out to other games (usually when I drag them) but they drift back to that. While my wife still stays on the outer fringe of gaming and plays on Facebook and Pogo. Sadly, they dont have much interest in KSP. Probably a touch technical for them.
  11. I suppose I should say a little about myself. I'm 40, have a wife and 2 teenage daughters and been into PC games for the last 24 years (Commodorre 64 was before the PC so I wont count that) I've tried KSP back a few months ago, got a few things into orbit, then lost my way.. no real direction about what to build and where to go. Now we have this lovely Career mode I've decide to pick the game back up again and bring my adventures to my Youtube channel where I'll be taking direction from my viewers where and what I should build next. Should lead to interesting times. I look forward to meeting new people (and possibly some old ones, you never know in the big world of the interwebs) and sharing my story as we reach for the stars! PS. Reckon we will hit warp technology one day?
  12. You could try Pixel Piracy Pixel Piracy Fun game that just getting off the ground and you can pick the game up free when you register into their forums.
