  1. Thank you very much for your reply... The only reason I avoided transmitting data from the Mun as you suggested was due to the decay of science points gained. How do I mark this post as answered
  2. I am fairly new to KSP, bought the game around 6 months ago but got baffled by all of the components in sandbox mode and never got round to playing any more... with the recent update of .22 and the career mode being added, I decided to take the plunge again. I find career mode really helpful in guiding you through the various tech and components and find myself developing new rockets to try and collect more of the ever elusive science. After I had achieved multiple orbits over Kerbin, I set my sights further afield and targeted the Mun... I then proceeded to try and land on the Mun and return 6 times!! Failing at various stages of the mission from Kerbin re-entry and even missing the Mun on one occasion and being stuck floating around Kerbin with no fuel. I have "successfully" landed on the Mun twice and ran all of the possible science experiments (EVA, reports, Goo etc..) but have not transmitted anything other than crew reports but never made it back home. My question is this... If I do manage to visit the Mun and return safely, will I be looking at diminished science returns as I have collected, but not recovered the same experiments previously?
