we will be playing whatever people want to play. if youre going in a modded server you need the exact same mods as the server. getting multiplayer is really easy. 1.place the KMP mod in your gamedata folder 1.1.if the server youre trying to connect to has mods, place said mods in the gamedata folder. 2.start ksp 3.type the server adress and port into their fields(a window will pop up at the main screen) how do we know who the weirods are? i think the mod supprots ban-ip, so we can ban grifers,but only after they destroyed something... -

thats a year away in the best case scenario. anyway i think that this server: KerbalSpace.Spazer.net Port: 3416 can work for the stock sandbox.lets start with that and progress to other types of gameplay later. anyone here has any ideas as to what to do there? -

the weird explosions were on the older versions of KMP. theres a new mod called DMP that doesent have these problems. as for the lag youre right, but you dont have to make HUGE bases. people build bases and stations on their own dont they? -
There is a mod called DMP that allows multiplayer. I've noticed people on most servers don't cooperate and just build random things. This thread's purpose is to change that and make people cooperate. People who participate in this will be at first playing in a Stock Sandbox server, but when enough people join other servers may be added. hey everyone! i've updated the scores and rules. on a side note, ive been running into a weight disbalance problem when building small missiles.does anyone know how to equalize the fuel in several fuel tanks? i'm using the probe sized tanks and there aren't any longer ones.(right?) -

Why would you do that when you can just adjust them in VAB/SPH? But i think i haven't got anything against that. Also, why isn't anybody building plane mounted rockets? Are you people scared of my mighty record of 7.2 KM??? -

i just did and they flew!!! not very well though. will submit in 20 mins. its a very very small rocket. the point of the plane mount is for the rocket to act like air to air or air to ground missiles. -

B9 and KW are allowed you could take a fuel tank, place a pod on it, attach the rocket to it, angle it 45 degrees fire the engines and decouple! it cant have any kind of sas or manned/unmanned control. about the plane launch: take the rocket, launch it at 45 DEG from the ground and check the distance(this is the record). after that mount it on a plane(i modified the rules so that you have to use one of the ravenspear planes) and show it in flight! -

it means exactly that! no sas and no probe! just a missile. -
go as far as you can with a winged rocket lunched at 45 degrees! You cant use any control(SAS or Probe). Preferably a rocket that can be mounted under an aircraft. i will post my entry tomorrow, but i got to ~7KM. Please post a VAB\SPH screenshot, crash site screenshot and for the plane category mounted on one of the stock ravenspear or albatross planes. Leaderboards: Capable of being mounted on a plane: 1.GraviTykillz: 54 KM 2.RadHazard: 19 KM 3.dgershko: 7.2 KM 4. 5 Surface lunched: 1.Kasuha: interplanetary!!! 2.GraviTykillz: 934 KM 3.Rhomphaia: 635 KM 4.SRV Ron: 366 KM 5.LongbowEOD: 345 KM 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Note:plane mounted rockets should be lunched from the ground for the distance measurement.

My MBT!(MUNAR BUGGY THINGY) Crash-tested against KSP buildings at ~23m\s with no damage at all! Including backwards!!! Has a lot of RCS and 4 engines(3 for vertical flight and one for flipping when upside down)! Enough fuel for 2 min burn (on kerbin) with the flight set and more with flipping engine!!! Looks awesome!!! EXPLOSIONS!!! BTW you probably dont want kerbals in the two seats on the sides!(they can and WILL fly off)
