I would put a man on the moon again.. Not so much for scientific value, but to get people more interested. We've lost the good ole' space morale that we once had. And I would of course hire Elon Musk and essentially buy out SpaceX for their technology. They're able to send a rocket for only USD$ 56 million.

In reply to the original post: Almost everyone I know has heard/knows a good amount about Soyuz. We've learned about it in Social Studies almost every year of Middle and High School.. Maybe it's where I live, but what you said seems to be inaccurate.
