  1. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer. I have a couple of mods that I installed manually since they did not show up in the ckan repository list, however they now show with "AD" marked in the "installed" column. Do i have to uninstall these mods and reinstall via ckan to get access to mod updates via ckan?
  2. Here is how I got around the problem of Interplanetary communication (diagram not to scale, for visual reference only) The Main ComSats are just your typical Geostationary constelation. The Deep Space Network (DSN) satelites are launched on opposing polar orbits (when one satellite is at Apoapsis the other is at Periapsis). This timing doesnt have to be exact since the satellite at AP is moving much slower than the one at PE, but what does have to be exact is that they have equal orbital periods. This should always keep one of your satellites above/below the orbital plane of Kerbin allowing LOS communication with your deep space probes (you may need to setup your satellites with a higher apoapsis, I just picked 3000km arbitrarily and it have worked for me so far).
  3. First off, love this mod, been playing around with it for a few weeks now. I do have a couple of questions. I currently have a "Fustek" station in orbit using the IACBM docking nodes. This works fine with the "dockingstandardkso" part when coupled with an IACBM, however this configuration takes up quite a bit of space in the cargo bay. I want to change over using the "dockingkso" part, however there isn't much clearance when placing the small docking port on the station (even when adding KSO parts to the station). What would be a perfect addition is a Pressurized mating adapter (PMA) type part that would make docking to larger stations much more convenient. Hope thats semi clear, typing this at work, will try and get some screen grabs tonight at home if more clarification is required.
  4. TAC Life support has this feature, so I know its possible.
  5. I love playing with RT2 on my sandbox game, I have over 16 satellites in orbit in the Kerbal system, but I want to play a career game without RT2 (mainly for unmanned science retrieval from places like Duna and Eve, not having to deal with the time delay). I know that I can have multiple installs of KSP (which I currently use), but I was wondering if there was a way to disable RT2 for a specific save game. I have seen other threads regarding temporarily disabling RT2 in a single save, but nothing in regards to having multiple games, some with RT2 and some without. Hope thats clear, TIA.
  6. wow, its obvious i am far outclassed in regards to coding and design, both of these look great!!!! I would be happy to test either one of these.
  7. One thing that would be great (not sure if its possible with the current API) is to have a gauge with all of your resource amounts, preferably as a bar graph as the game gui shows, but configurable by the user.
  8. Here is a screenshot of what i have so far https://www.dropbox.com/s/wgxhnipkt5gyd7s/combo.PNG And here are the modded files https://www.dropbox.com/s/y1v597gm0ntp5t4/TelemachusMod.zip
  9. Been playing around with the html/css/js files (I too am an amateur when it comes to this stuff). Set font to Courier New for a more technical look, and I have been able to get the graphs to be green on black, but I am still having issues formatting the table screens (can't change the background color on the tables. One thing i did come up with was a way to display multiple graphs/tables on a single page using iframes. I know that its not the perfect solution, but it does work. To try it out, create a file (I called mine "combo.html") in the same directory as the rest of the html/css/js source. past the following code into that file <html> <body bgcolor="#000000"> <table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1" border="0"> <tr> <td> <iframe width=33% height=375 src="orbital.html" scrolling="auto" align="middle" frameborder="0"></iframe> <iframe width=33% height=375 src="surface.html" scrolling="auto" align="middle" frameborder="0"></iframe> <iframe width=33% height=375 src="touchball-pyr.html" scrolling="auto" align="middle" frameborder="0"></iframe> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <iframe width=33% height=375 src="altitude.html" scrolling="auto" align="middle" frameborder="0"></iframe> <iframe width=33% height=375 src="flight-control.html" scrolling="auto" align="middle" frameborder="0"></iframe> <iframe width=33% height=375 src="d-pad.html" scrolling="auto" align="middle" frameborder="0"></iframe> </td> </tr> </table> </body> </html> Best part about this is that by editing which files you include, you can display any 6 screens at once. Some thoughts I have for grouping are 1. Science / Sensor data 2. Ship / Location status data 3. Command / Control data I also am going to try and format the dpad and control pages to better fit these smaller windows. I will put together all of my edited files later tonight and post them here if there is any interest.
  10. damn, should have thought of that. I will have a look at the pages and see what I can tweak. Thanks.
  11. FIRST POST!!! Love the idea of this mod, one quick question. Is it possible to easily change the color scheme to utilize a black background and/or change the font to a fixed width (like Courier New)? Would give it that old school "Apollo Mission Control" feel. Here is an image i found to help visualize what I'm hoping for (not content/layout specific, just a visual representation).... http://www.ibiblio.org/apollo/LmTelemetry.jpg TIA
