    Well, I took the plunge and really like the new decouplers and the Mk1-3 command pod for a rebalanced mass, moved hatch and included rcs! I was disappointed at the lack of 1.85m parts and the lack of texture passes for the 1.25 and 3.75 tanks and that the 2.5 lander can is now heavier than the command pod! I am personally not fussed on the parachutes. But given I've got my mod options in 1.3.1 where I want them, I really wanted these updated stock parts. Turns out the Mk1-3 at least can be dropped into 1.3.1. And its RCS works too! I think I've solved the issue. Move the new parts to my old save and carry on. Sorted! Peace.
