Game Maker 2 is a free to download game engine (with additional subscriptions available for other transfer and conversion services) by YoYo Games. It is a sequel to Game Maker and it uses GML (Game Maker Language) and Drag and Drop TM . Game Maker 2 is an easy and simple game engine to use similar to Scratch (by Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Game Maker 2 was released to the public in 2017. Development started in 1999 however. I would recommend using Game Maker 2 if you are a beginner at software or game development that would like to make a game. Want to get started?
