how i lost jeb: so recently i was playing KSP and doing yet another minmus mission when i realised i had like 2000-1000 delta v left, which i thought was more then enough to go to the mun, so i went to the mun and tried to leave with about 800 delta v left, i escaped but ran out of fuel, so i used bob kerman's jetpack to push it, bob, some random kerbal on the ladder, and the mk.3 capsule were constantly switching jetpacks until i accidently moved the capsule causing both kerbals to get flung, after a while of trying to save both kerbals, jeb ended up the one needing saving and with no EVA fuel. TLDR: i flew too close to kerbol (the sun) in terms of what i can do, flung 2 kerbals across the universe, somehow only lost jeb, now jeb shall happily float around kerbin and cause i left the capsule for a while its now somehow orbiting the sun. ( i am complete trash lol)

So recently, I noticed Jebediah and Valentina weren't in my inventory. And if they were missing, they should have been back by now. I checked the astro complex and it said both were"K.I.A". Fyi, they're not missing as i checked everything in my tracking station and the astro complex doesn't say that they are missing. Edit: I found out that K.I.A means killed in action, but they should've re spawned. I set the re spawn timer to 1 hour and I'm sure I've been playing for more then 1 hour. Any of you know how to respawn them? -
Are flights so unstable? If you are not micromanaging every flight, which you can only effectively do 1 at a time. I was doing a paratrooper run, and the pilot Jebadiah is KIA even though when I left the plane it was stable, very slowly climbing. Why?!!! Because I have to micromanage the jumper or they will go splat. Then when I go to tracking station and the plane has disappeared and the pilot is KIA.
